This is a tough one. Because it is Monday I like MK but do you want to see a night time parade there and will it be running on monday evening. I also like MK first usually because that is the big one Dallas likes the best BUT it also makes it so he wants to keep going there all week.

Regular clothes. Whatever you wore to the parks is just fine.

I can't believe we leave in 6 days! I hope I can settle the kids down enough to go to school this week. Thankfully, Friday is a fun day for them.
Bailee's send off party is this Thursday night @ our house. She wanted to keep it small since she gets so nervous and makes herself sick when she is the center of attention.
I am praying that my kids stay healthy this week.
I am headed over to Tiffany's (Caleb's mom) house in a little while to get as many tips as I can. Luckily they only live 5 minutes away.

The closer the trip gets the more questions I have. Hopefully I won't fill up this board this week with my questions.

Regular clothes UNLESS it's a princess breakfast AND your daughter has a princess dress she is just CRAZY to wear. Even then, you will probably want to take regular clothes for her to change into afterward. (Assuming you can get her OUT of the dress)

I found this great web site for Disney Cast appriciation Cards.

You can print the cards out on buisness card paper from your own home and give it to special Disney Cast Members that add a little special magic to your trip. Cards can be personalized with your families names and dates of the trip. And the best part is that they are FREE!!!!!

I have emailed the website to ask how they can maybe changed slightly to reflect that they are from wish families even suggesting that a set of cards be designed for Wish families to use. I also asked about how we can modify the cards so they can be given out at the other parks or at give kids the world (though I am sure they would love the disney themed ones as well). I'll keep you informed when I get more info.

You go to the usercp section and to "edit signature" and you can type what you would like (including links, icons, etc) and you can include pictures, etc.

Feel free to PM me if you need some help setting it up! I should be on this week off and on!

Easy! That's MissBianca aka MissB on tagrel.com She was playing. Now, she makes digital scrapbook pages instead, which are fabulous.

If you were to design a card for wish families, what would be different about it?

Maybe something as simple as saying thanks for making our wish trip special.

Or maybe we can even come up with a simple design (such as three diffrent sized stars) that are incorperated somewhere on the card that represent a wish family had given them the card.

I am sure others have better ideas, I just think the CM's might like to see that it was from a wish family.

I agree! This is a great idea!!!

Anything we can do to say "WISH"... but not necessarily Make a Wish, since other wish organizations grant...I guess we all know that... but ya know what I mean?

I love this idea!

I bet Tracie or someone from the DISboutiquers board would love to design one??? (hint...hint....are you guys lurking out there?!?)

Well the kids got another package, they are loving the gifts and attention. I want to say a big thanks to the Big Give people so far the kids are on cloud nine. Andrea loves the comments on her pictures. Her head is getting bigger and bigger.

Catching up...

Someone had posted concerned their healthy child would be jealous. We had a HUGE issue with this and things are just finally getting back to "normal"

Maddie is the typical "first child". Wants to be first in line, wants to be the boss. Well, with Olivia getting all the attention - Maddie did NOT do well with it. I have pics of her scowling. Add in having to catch up on school work after the trip (and Olivia's young enough to not be in school and have homework...) - it was a challenge getting back to a normal routine to say the very least.

So I did what any guilt ridden, Disney loving mama will do - I booked a Disney vacation for Maddie's birthday week. Yes, it's July. Yes it's going to be hotter than he!!. The girls think we're flying to Hershey, PA for vacation ... it is going to be GREAT to see their reactions when we get to the airport and tell them!

FUN! I am already wanting to plan another trip! That week went WAY TOO FAST! I was tempted to book during the free dining....but I guess we will wait a year or so!

Hi everyone I am finally back on here again. Sounds like alot of people were having a rough go about the same time as we were. My dd is stilll struggling with her mono but things are starting to get better
We were in the hospital over the weekend but this time with my ds. Yes, he has been diagnosed with asthma. He started wheezing and not breathing so I freaked and thought it was pneumonia or something. Now we are doing breathing treatments for him and meds he is still struggling and I feel really overwhelmed as I am the only one who will care for my dd and now I have my ds to care for. Good thing I stay at home.....

I will still keep everyone in my prayers and please do the same for me.




My son is just starting to get jealous of my dd so we do special stuff together with just the two of us (or him and his dad). It really helps.
Also find stuff that is important to them (for my kids it is picking which park or walk or who gets to hold the dog etc.) We made a jar and when they are being kind to one another we let them pick out of the "Joy Jar". They don't get to pick every time but at my dh and my discretion. They kiddo's never know when they will be "caught" being kind. It really helps and makes my ds feel like he is special to.
