Do you hear that? No, listen closer.
If you listen real hard you will hear a chior of angels singing because
Our Dates Are Completly Confirmed!!!!!!:banana::cheer2:

We will be leaving Chicago at 8:05 in the morning and getting to Florida about 11:45, and we will be leaving Florida at 3:14 in the afternoon.:hippie:

So you know what that means Maroo, you can now offically change me from TBA to September 13th-19th.

What a huge relief to have that off my shoulders. I was so worried about getting to excited about the dates untill everything was confirmed and now they are. :cheer2::yay::woohoo:

How exciting!!! That is one of the dates that we have requested. We might see you there!!! We are still waiting. Congrats!!!:cheer2:

I know, when I saw that you guys were requesting dates in Sept. I was hoping that our dates would overlap at least a little. I can't wait to find out when your dates our and we will definatly have to meet up.

First of all...that sounds so strange to me...that you guys are leaving from Chicago! I was just there...as you know! :)

Now I need to figure out how I am going to run into you guys! Hmm.... :scratchin

I have updated your dates and moved all of the TR's to the correct place...I had no idea I was about a month behind on doing that?!?! What is up with THAT? :rotfl:

Welcome HOME, Maroo! You were MISSED!

 Thanks!!

I missed you guys, too!!!! :)

I know, I was thinking the same thing when I wrote it. The post you had written was still fresh in my mind.:rotfl2:

I completly forgot that we might be able to meet. So how is that gonna work?

Maroo had a great idea of bringing something back for my new class. Any ideas on this. I love Maroo's idea of something signed but also would like some other inexpensive ideas (don't know if it is out of my price range to get something for everyone or not:confused3) She will have 22 kids in her new class, (smaller than the private school we were paying for).:thumbsup2

Any more ideas are appreciated. Would it look too much like sucking up to bring her new teacher something back? I would like to but don't want her to think it is only because we are brown nosing.:rotfl: We are still bringing something back for her last teacher at her old school and the secretary. Both of them did great with my dd and really deserve something nice in return. I thought about a t-shirt for them but not sure about her new school.

Also in someones PTR I read about parking and which line to follow when entering the park. I can't remember which PTR it was in. Anyone know about this?

I love the idea about bringing something back. For the new teacher maybe you could bring some sort of Mickey cookies or candies that they sell at World of Disney in a tin. Then she could use the tin afterwards to store classroom supplies.

I like the idea of the autographs. Could you find a pillow case for a smaller pillow and have all of the characters sign it? Do you sew at all? You could always stuff the pillow case when you where done and donate it to the classroom reading area. I know at my daughter's school each grade has reading time and a designated reading area with pillows and such. The other idea would be to find a book for the characters to sign to donate to the classroom, but you would not want one that was too big or too heavy since you would have to carry it around the parks with you.

I hope you get some more good ideas soon!

Does GKTW have hairdryers in the villas? If yes, is there one in each bathroom, or just one in the whole villa. I have 3 girls with LOTS of hair, I don't know if we could live with just one dryer:eek::eek:
Do they allow you to bring outside food into the parks for snacks and lunch?
Universal, too?

We leave in 13 days...will we be hearing from GTKW soon...I thought I heard they sent stuff before we arrive. we got our party planned...I am getting really excited.

I am a member of the Rain Forest Cafe Safari Club. I just received a coupon for $10 off of a $25 purchase. It says that I can forward it and share with friends. If anyone will be going there before the July 31st expiration date, I would be glad to forward the coupon to you. They have restaurants at both Animal Kingdom and at Downtown Disney. The Animal Kingdom one serves breakfast. :wizard:

You follow the blue line painted on the ground. Sometimes it was on the left...sometimes it was on the right!

Do you know if it is good at the dinosaur restaurant in Downtown D? I think it is owned by Rainforest Cafe...if so, I would love to have a copy of the coupon. We have ressies at the dino restaurant.
Thanks!

Jill (Dev's wish coor.) called today and we have our flight times and our hotel :cool1: :cloud9:

It really is going to happen this time! Jill said she would be shipping out Dev's box with his shirt and pin, etc. in the next week! AHHHHHH! :scared1: I have to really start putting this together. I have put it off after the last time with Dev getting sick. We leave in 35 days. DD9 leaves for OK in 20 days and will be back 2 days before we go to DisneyLAND. DD16 leaves for a two year adventure in Norway in 43 days!

Our MAW Volunteers are from Muhlenberg County. One is from Central City and the other one is from Greenville. It is a SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL.

No pun intended, of course. It is not often that I run into someone who has heard of Muhlenberg County!
I hope you have a great wish trip!
We leave in 2 weeks, 6 days! I can't believe it. It is all that my kids are talking about!

I love the pillow and the book idea. I think I may go with the pillow idea. I don't know how to sew but I am sure I can talk someone I know into doing it. Thanks for the advice.

I'm so excited! I've been wanting to be a Wish Granter for a long time but lived too far away from the chapters and with graduate school I just didn't have the time. Well, I am moving to the Kansas City area later this month and just sent off my request to their chapter for the application! I'm really hoping it will work out this time.
