Hello!
We leave Saturday, I am going to bust a gut! :rotfl:

My question is--I have booked a FDP for Fantasmic but do I really need it? My DD is in a wheelchair but we can still pretty easily carry her and she can sit in a seat pretty well. I would like to get her the best seat possible because of her visual issues so I thought the FDP might help-- we asked her wish coordinator for help but Disney said they could not guarantee special seating. I think we will be have every label imaginable! (MAW button, GAC, wheelchair...) What do you all think?

Thank you!

Becky and Liza

PS I dont think there is any way she could stay up for the 10:00 showing

I can't answer most of your question, but the seating for Fantasmic is benches. Just really long metal benches, no back, so that could make a difference depending on how well your DD is able to sit. Also the stroller parking area, which is where they may also make you park your wc (not sure on that) is a long walk from the seating area. It could be difficult if you have to carry her.

The characters that are performing are fairly far back from the seating so they are pretty small, no matter how close you are sitting. The scenes projected on the water are quite large so they seem to be easily viewed from anywhere. At the end several boats come out filled with characters so that would be a reason to sit closer and be able to see them better. But you also may get wet (a sprinkle of water, not drenched) the closer you are so keep that in mind too.

The WC seating is all in the back. You enter the stadium at the top and then walk down to get to the seats. There are wc spots all along the back and when that is filled they put you up another level even further back. The earlier you arrive the better the seats you can get if you don't want to be in the wc area, but then you may have a very long wait until the show. We have arrived 60-90 minutes early to get a good seat and that was when it was being shown every night. I would think that it is even harder now that it is only shown a few times per week.

There is a snack bar at the back of the stadium where you can get some food-- I think Hot Dogs are about the only dinner type of option. We usually go to the large food area across the street from the stadium entrance and order burgers and fries and bring them in to eat dinner-- it helps to pass the time while you are waiting. They serve the food in open trays-- no bags to put it in but I usually have some Ziplocks or shopping bags that I can set it in to make it easier to carry food for 4 people in. We buy drinks when we get in there.

Just another thing to note-- we always make sure that we all arrive at the same time and then no one leaves. If they stadium reaches capacity they will not allow anyone else in, even if you are sitting there saving their seat.

F! is our favorite show out of everything at WDW and well worth the wait to us.
