Has anyone had him? What did you think of him?

My wedding planner said he is really good at keeping things moving along etc and is a nice idea?

Im just not convinced! Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I have not had him yet but we are in just under a week and a half. We added him for the suprise factor - no one knows. I can tell you what he is doing for us.

When it is time for the rings to be given the officnt will say to teh best man: may I have the rings. The best man will then of course be panicked because he wont have them. He will ask teh Maid of honor and the same response will be had. Then the officiant will say louder may I have the rings? the doors to the WP will open and trumnpets will sounds - major domo enteres with the rings on a pillow.
After the ceremony he hands out our bubbles and organizes ourg eusts for the stagged exit. he also organizes our guests to get on the buses to head to the reception. And finally he is announcing us all into the reception for our first dance. I think you can have him do what yuo want though.

We got married 09/03 he was great. When he came through the doors with the rings everyone at my wedding was applauding!! They were so caught up in the fairytale of the wedding that my dad was crying--he never does this in public!! He anounced everyone into the dining room at the living seas after they had the pre-reception. He then annouced the entire wedding party. He also annouced the father/daughter(bride) dance and the bride/groom first dance. He then introduced the best man for the toast and bid a farewell to leave for the manor. My dad loved him so much he wanted to tip him. Ha, Ha!!

Thats what he "would" be doing for us!! but we are going to be a bit mean, and tell the best man that the usher is looking after the rings and vice versa
