Major Disney refurb and construction completion dates worldwide

I haven't heard that but I have heard previews could start as early as March.

Big Thunder Mountain is showing hours for May. Is it possible it won't be under refurbishment? I really hope so! It has been closed for refurb on both of my previous trips.

It's true that it doesn't appear on the refurbishment section on the WDW attraction times guide. With that said, I honestly think it's more likely the website being slow to update. So @Naomi Rohrbaugh I wouldn't count on it being open. But keep in mind that Earth Day is being rumored to be a huge day for DAK. If you're going in May, there's going to be some interesting things to see...

On my disney experience phone app for android. Previously, when I put in my dates May 8 & 13 it would say closed. Now the attraction is showing hours. I'm not sure if they're updating the site or if it will actually be open. But it would be awesome if it was.

We are going May 31-June 3 and I was bummed BTMRR was gonna be closed. Selfishly I hope it is pushed back to August. Would make more sense given that everyone says it is slow after Labor Day and the summer is packed.

My daughter will be all kinds of happy if BTMR is open at the start of May. Hopefully I'll have good news for her when we arrive.

Selfishly I'm hoping for the opposite! But it would make more sense to keep it open during the summer since it's very busy then. Here's to hoping any refurb is brief!

Yes sir I understand that but my point was that summer is busy before kids go back to school in Aug and Sept thus a refurb after the main summer months would make more sense.
