I know! The suspense is killing me!

Does anyone know what time this press event will take place? Will it be aired? Hm, I wonder if they'll air it on a podcast or something.

It is scheduled from 6:00 - 9:00 PM I believe

I'd love a new park at WDW, but I think its the 'dreams come true' celebration to replace the current 50th celebration

If it's for a new park, which I highly doubt, the park will be in New York. Otherwise, they'd announce the event at the park location in question. By that same reasoing, it's not going to be specific to one Disney park. They may announce something Pirates and Princesses in conjunction with this, but that's it. I also don't think it's specific to New York, otherwise why have a contest for AP holders.

What's the Dreams Come True Celebration?

On one website there was a lot of speculation yesterday about it being the Priates and Princesses events and also the role out of a new campaign possible entitled Where Dreams Come True (something Disney just recently trademarked). Also Touring Plans had a small blurb on it yesterday.

Now, if it was close to what their saying on this site you mention, it would be really cool!!!!

"Supposedly titled something like "A Year of a Million Dreams," the idea is that every day in 2007, a number of Disney resort guests will be selected to have their Disney dreams come true. (Note to you fellas: it does not involve canoodling with Ariel.) If what we hear is true, expect giveaways like free meals, toys, special seating for parades and shows, and more."

"something special to do with our resorts and people traveling there."
FP tied into resort stays based on your resort category. . . . possibly. I seriously doubt it has anything to do with a new park.

Interesting thread.... This time tomorrow we should all know....

 Hello fellow Gemini! Tomorrow's my birthday too! :bday: to you!

oooh ooooohhhh....wouldnt it be great if they announced another Disney Cruise Ship...one based in New York......to dock at those new piers that they are building!!!! (Near Coney Island - lol)

The Secret is out and I'm starting a new thread about it for my 400th post - check it out.

I wonder why it's going to be on a Wednesday! I have to work! :sad1:

Usually, you get better press coverage if you make a big announcement on a Tuesday or Wednesday. It's a combination of when most people read the newspaper (i.e., don't announce on Friday or it will make Saturday's paper which is not well read) and to give media enough of a chance to either put the news in the next day's edition or Sunday (in this case, a lot of travel sections are published on Sunday, and most Sunday papers take a few days to print due to size). Also, you don't want to announce on Monday because, well, we all know about rainy days and Mondays ;) .

Since the teasing invite mentions announcements (plural), my guess is that they are revealing the next theme, possibly a tie-in to Epcot's 25th, the princess-and-pirate parties, and more. Possibly a new DVC in NYC with plans to develop others worldwide, otherwise I think they would announce at one of the current theme parks, especially if there is a tie-in to Epcot.

Can't wait to find out!

I'm curious as well to know what is going on tomorrow. :goodvibes

Okay I am adding myself to the can't wait list!!! It did say plural announcements, so I am guessing that a new DVC (since its the 15th annis. in October), the pirate and princess event and the new celebration. I wish it was at 6a!!! :cool1:

OK, this beats the heck out of my guess for the pirates and princesses hard ticket event!

Actually I heard rumors about that for the near feature, where only guests who stay on property are the only ones who can get the Fast passes. I to cant wait until tomorrow. We know what time, but does anyone know if its gonna be aired or perhaps on the news 2morrow night?
