Main St. closed for Wishes?

A family member was at MK last Weds. (the 25th) and she said Main St. was completely closed off for Wishes. Roped off as if it was for a parade.

Anyone know why this would have been? Is this a new policy???

Was it just the rope used to separate those standing in the street from those who must keep moving on the sidewalks?

This was my first thought, that it was the rope to keep people moving who are on their way out, and separate them from those who are standing to watch the show.

You can still get down main street by going through the stores. They are all connected from the beginning of Main Street to the end.
