I was just wondering if I purchase something that I want to use at the resorts, but it won't arrive at my house in time, can I have it shipped to the resort I will be staying at even if I, of course, don't know my room number yet? If so, what do I put as the mailing address?
I found a great pal mickey online for cheap, but I don't think if I order it today it will make it to my house by next Tuesday if shipping standard from Fl to KS.
Thanks for your help!!!

Yep, we just did that last month! Prior to our trip, we shipped down a huge package full of cereal, my son's pull-ups and wipes, beach towels, etc...whatever we could to lighten the suitcases!

Just ship it to yourself C/O the resort you're staying at. Be sure to write on the front of the package "Please hold until arrival date of ___". We didn't even have to inquire about it when we checked in, it was noted in our ressie!

Have a wonderful, magical vacation! :)

How much did it cost you to ship all this stuff? I was thinking about doing this for our trip on the 21st.

Our package was HUGE,( it weighed about 45 lbs.) but it was my stuff as well as the things that my sister's family wanted to ship. We split the cost of the shipping which was around $23.00 using UPS ground. Money well spent! Sending down the breakfast foods is a great way to save a little dough when you're in Disney!

Please remember that postal services are very backed up at this time of year. Ship early!

Is Easy. Go to allearsnet.com -they've got the actual street addresses
for all the resorts. I've used FEDEX ground, 3 day, etc. I have a FEDEX
account -it's easy to do.. all you need is a credit card, and you may get
10% off for doing everything on the Internet.

Address it to yourself care of c/o the resort. Put this on the box, or
whatever you're shipping down...
1. HOLD FOR ARRIVAL (date)
2. Reservation ##.

When you check in, tell the CM at the front desk that you have a package,
or packages waiting for you. Usually, the bell stafff will grab it and get it
to your room. We do this every year that we fly to WDW, and have a bin
(that we bought from Bed Bath and Beyond for $20.00). It's lockable
and has wheels at one end. You can put a LOT of stuff in it. We usually
use it for things that the TSA might have fits over (electronics, batteries,
a knife/cutting board)... we also pack snacks, things like ramen noodle
packages (great packing material!) in it. Tends to be about 50lbs. runs
about $1.00/lb if you send overnighht -less if 2-3 day or ground.

sending stuff out is abouut as easy. If you have a FEDEX account, just grab
a paper airbill and a airbill pocket from a kiosk in an office building. Send
it 3 day or ground, and it'll get there in good shape and you can track the
package the whole way.

Works GREAT!!!!

have fun

John
