Hello ladies! I was told that I was being summoned to this thread, so I figured I'd better see what all the buzz was about! I am half tempted to do this just because I want to see Utah's Mickey in Drag album!

I am with Dis on the fact that I have about 6 years of my own life to catch up on and not enough hours in the day or money in the bank!

But before I say yes or no, what is the count on the number of Peeps signed up for this thing so far?

I'm so not ready yet-is anybody doing a spiral album or are you all doing binders so that pages can just be inserted? I am thinking I should run to Hobby Lobby and get a different book as I can't bring myself to open the one from WallyWorld (see post 65) and get started

I'm using an 8x8 scrapbook that I got at Michael's. it didn't come with enough pages for everyone's recipes and profiles so I got extra pages and inserted them. It's not a binder or a spiral album. I think they're called "post bond" albums, but I'm not sure and I'm at work right now so can't check.

What Pixiedust said!! Since so many of you posted about the black Mickey Mouse 8x8 album at Michaels, I went with that one!! I bought extra pages too... and they had papers on sale (as opposed to construction paper!! ) for 10cents a sheet!!

Now I also bought 3 magazine/books trying to come up with a variety of ideas to go with my introduction page... I know I"m mostly a boring person, I just think there is this creative person dying to get out!!!

I'm not so concerned yet with the sign in pages... I have an idea, but I am more looking forward to the signatures!!!

Thanks for putting together the circle journal, I love this idea!!

Your not ready!!i haven't even bought a book yet or thought of any cutesy ideas or themes...or anything!!I don't know when I will be able to go look but I want to go before the sale at Michaels ends.

I don't think it is physically possible for anything you and Grumpy do to be boring!!!

OK first everyone who signs up will create there own recipe album no bigger than 10 x 10 most people in circle journals do 8 x 8. You will designing or do whatever you like on your cover.

Then on the inside create a welcome/introduction page about yourself and your goals for weightloss since this is going to be for healthy recipes. you can add a pic of you now and maybe one of what you would like to look like ofr example I wanna fit in my highschool jeans so i have a pic of me in highschool that i would put on there with the pic of me now.

then you can create tags or some for of a sign in so that each person who gets the journal not only will create a one or two page recipe layout.

Example i would make a carrot shape tag and I would like you to right where your from, age, and other info you care to share. include a pic on the backside of the carrot and decorate it as well however you see fit.

Then they would proceed to go ahead and make a one or two page layout in the album with your healthy recipe/recipes.

And we keep doing this till the rotation is over, so basically its a chain were everyone will be mailing to the same person ex:

UM mails to Aries
Aries mails to Twinkie
Twinkie mails to UM

see how that chain worked simple

This way when it goes around to everyone you can all the beautiful work and ideas and when its complete then you have a little piece of everyones ideas and a great bonding experience...

Depending on the amount of people signed up we can do a mailing once a month or every two weeks. This way you have time and when its all done you will have you very own DISappearing Peeps Bible of healthy recipes for weightloss!

I have my first three pages my sign in and introduction first page the intro and then when you flip that the two pages facing you are sign in. then everyone can move on from there i also attached a post it that if you run out of page protectors let me know ill ship them out to who ever has my album at that time. because they way my album works is each person can use whatever paper they want thats 8x8 and put in the page protector

right the books will circulate every two weeks we mail out and youll get a new on and do a one to two pages and then you get the next book and do the same. and so on and so on.
