Our Magic Bands were shipped from WDW this morning for our upcoming trip in late November. Should I ship the ones designated for my adult kids from my house to their apartments? They live in different states and will be arriving at MCO separately from us.

Depends on if you will have time to do it. You don't say where you are from but I live in FL and it still takes about 2 days to get my MB. Add any additional mail time to the state you need to send to and will your kids get them on time? I find mail/ups etc to be unreliable at nailing down delivery dates/times. Since today is 10/30, I'm betting you'd be cutting it REALLY close to the quick.
If they are coming later than you, you can leave them at the front desk and they can pick them up when they get there.

Yes, I could leave the Magic Bands at the desk at the resort, but we are flying in from Detroit, and snow and ice delays are always possible that time of year. We might not be the first ones to arrive if that happens. The real question here is will a Magic Band set off any security alarms or raise suspicions at the post office or UPS when the package is sent from household to household, rather than directly from Disney?

The magic bands won't set off any red flags while being shipped by you to the other guests. If you decide not to send them, and your guests arrive at the resort before you, the front desk will be able to issue a regular room key card or a second gray magic band to get them in their room. You just need to be sure all of your guests names are on your resort room reservation.

Not to highjack the thread because we are in the same boat, but what happens when you try to board DME without a magic band?

I decided Not to ship the Magic Bands. I called and spoke with a CM. If other people in our party arrive at MCO first, they can get on the DME if they have the resort reservation confirmation #. At the resort, front desk staff will provide them with a card that works like a Magic Band. (FYI-I received a letter from DME that has a scannable barcode that can be used at the airport. I sent both kids each a copy of that letter to take along, just in case.)

The last time I was there in 2016 they would not ship the Magic Bands internationally. The bands were waiting for us at the resort. When we arrived at DME check-in, I went up to the desk with a copy of our reservation, and they processed us right away and we were able to use the bus without issue.
