Mail from the resorts?

Has anyone prepurchased any flat rate shipping boxes and used those to mail things home? I was thinking of trying it as it would be cheaper than the Fed Ex service. Second question, Disney does have outgoing mail pickup at each resort correct? Thanks for any guidence

never used the boxesbut each resort pisks up mail daily.

The outgoing mail drop at most resorts is a letter slot. Pretty sure the boxes won't fit into that slot.
