We mailed postcards at the post office on Castaway Cay (bought the stamps there, etc.) on May 13 and haven't received them yet. Is this typical?

It took about a month and a half for us to receive our mail from CC the last trip.

I CONCUR!!! We were home for over 2 weeks before the first of the dozen or so postcards that I sent were received. They came at all different times even though they were all sent to the same city....... they should EVENTUALLY get there! :sunny:

We mailed several postcards from CC in January and no one has gotten them yet!! I don't think they are coming!!

We mailed two on one trip. One took a loooooooooooooooong time. The other took, well, I guess forever, since it hasn't made it in almost two years.

We mailed postcards from Castaway Cay on May 15 (we were on the Repo cruise) and our postcards from Curacao and the Panama Canal arrived before our postcard from Castaway which arrived a few days ago.

We were on CC May 17th and sent a couple of post cards and My mother (US)just got hers today!LOL And we sent another card to Sweden which got there last week? And a couple others we sent here in the US haven't gotten theirs either? Go figure?lol :confused3
Just wait alittle while longer I bet it will come.

When we were in CC in February we posted several cards at the same time - all back to the UK. One of them (to work) took four days but one of the others (to a friend) took three months - you just can't tell !!!!

Thanks - you all made me feel better. I just hope they DO come. It would be nice for the scrapbook! :goodvibes

We mailed 5 postcards from CC on May 10. Two arrived yesterday to relatives, the one we sent to ourselves arrived today. Ours took four weeks and two are missing in action.

Oh....someone was suppose to mail one to my boys to 'announce' our upcoming cruise. She was suppose to be mailing them this week. I do hope that they make it :goodvibes

I sent mine from CC May 2004 and they have YET to reach anyone I sent them to LOL!! Guess the whole bunch got lost someplace....

Oh my :sad1: I was counting on 'announcing' our upcoming cruise to our boys with our 'should be on the way' postcard. I hope it makes it :sad2:

I did PM someone today about a 2nd postcard (from home). I would love a card postmarked from CC, but one from home is better than nothing!

(They did get a great card postmarked in Florida [Thanks Verandah Man ;) ] announcing our first cruise, but we had to reschedule and they don't know we already did :earboy2: )

Ours took just under a month, but at least we received ours. - Mike

just curious...did you put "USA" at the end of your mailing address?

You know what, I didn't!! I never even thought of that. Well, that may explain why mine never showed up.

I have no idea LOL....that may be why we didn't get them...it was over a year ago so I don't recall.

Yes, I did put USA.
A friend received her's from us yesterday, but the one I sent to our house hasn't showed yet. Hopefuly we're getting close!

We mailed out 20 postcards from CC on May 17th, and most people received them all this past Wednesday 6/8/05.
