Maiden Voyage Announced for Destiny

I am wondering the same thing. I emailed my Dreams agent last Thursday and she said we should get an email by Friday with the itineraries . Nothing yet, I'm starting to wonder if Dreams is having problems and I need to find another Travel Agency. I've booked almost 40 Disney Cruises through Dreams but it seems like things are taking longer and longer with them.
Nobody has the itineraries, yet. Disney will probably release them tomorrow. All we know so far is that the Destiny will sail 4- and 5-night cruises from Ft. Lauderdale that visit Castaway Cay, Lookout Cay, Nassau, and Cozumel.

I think the biggest problem is the lack of a large adult pool area compared to the Dream/Fantasy Class
I also think they may have been able to have a walking deck around the ship - something on the Magic and Dream class ships.
yeah the lack of a walking/jogging path on deck 4 is the most annoying part for me.
Even more infuriating is that they often close off the glass gate on the deck 4 stairs leading to deck 5 if you're trying to walk thru the non continuing path.
It was clearly designed with the intention of not having people use deck 4 as jogging path..
I can deal with the tacky, hotel type design interior, but this is a major turnoff for me.
We will avoid booking any of the Triton class ships in the future.

Can we stick to the topic at hand - regarding maiden voyage and itineraries? Instead of bashing the ship/class. Please?

Currently having trouble loading the itineraries on the DCL website - just stays blank. Surprised to see the 4-night itinerary that hits up Castaway and Lookout but skips Nassau; had no idea they were allowed to do that!

The fantasy is doing a 4 night like that over Xmas this year. Dcl blog has all the dates/itineraries loaded on their site.

Because both Castaway and Lookout are considered part of the Bahamas they are considered "foreign ports" and therefore comply with the US law requiring cruises departing from the US to make a stop at a foreign port.

No complaints from me! That’s awesome. Are any of these sailings Very Merrytime cruises? Or do they not do that because it’s the maiden sailing season?

Not surprisingly, most if not all sailings are blocked out from placeholder discount. Still I'd love it if they were Merrytime themed
