Maho Beach - any opinions?

We're heading out next week and trying to finalize our shore activities. We have 3 children with us - and my husband and I prefer to not have the nudity distraction (for us or our children!!). That leaves us with 3 options, from what I've gathered on this WONDERFUL board. Maho (Sunset Beach), Mullet or Dawn Beach. The thought of watching planes go overhead is thrilling - but is that a beach we can "hang" out at for the day? It sounds as if it is a smallish strip of beach. Is there another beach that is more "beach-like" and allows us to view to airplanes too? Can anyone please help us make our decision? I would love any and all opinions! Thanks!!!

You won't see full nudity except at a couple beaches at St. Maarten. You may see topless women at almost any beach although they tend to be discreet at most beaches.

Yes, it is really cool to see the planes coming in right over the beach, and yes, the strip of beach is pretty small. There is a large resort hotel right there, so there are some facilities, but this really isn't the nicest beach on the island.
