Does anyone play Mahjongg (Classic) online? If so, do you any tips or secrets on how to clear the tiles quickly? I can use any and all help to improve my lacklustre performance. :o :D

Speed Marbles...omg...completely addictive! :D

Mahjongg/Speed Marbles

I play the same Mahjongg and would love some tips. Actually, I've become addicted to it. It does take forever to clear the board especially when you have the luck I do and get to 6 left and can't uncover them.

Did the Theater board in 6:40 - BUT the two boards before that "no moves left". Dont really have any tips, except always choose the tile thats on top!!

Wishing everyone a "magical" day!

I've always wanted to learn how to play mahjong. Is this the same game but online?

As far as I know, it is, Gina. All they tell you is to clear the board, and you can click on "Hints" if you get stuck. I click there a lot...lol. ;)

Snuggles, I can clear the board approx. 70% of the time, but I'm SO slow.....:o I can hardly imagine doing it in a minute and a half or so, like the High Scores board shows. It takes me that long just to peruse the board! :teeth:

Uh, no. It uses the same style of tiles, but it is not the tile game that lots of people play.

The online one is a "solitaire version" if you will. The classic tile game is played with tiles, in groups of 2-4, but usually 4, where you put together "hands" like you might in gin rummy.

I was taught mah jongg by an older lady who lives next door to my in-laws. She has a mah-jong group that meets weekly....12 ladies so they play 3 tables. She grew up in NYC where it's apparently very popular....many of her group members are also transplanted Northerners who were taught the game when they were young, too. Noone I knew growing up in SC knew how to play, young or old..... she's in GA now, but we don't get back enough to see her and play....so we're kinda rusty....wish we knew others who played :)

Kim! Where have you been? I've been missing you, sweetie

Lucky for me the online version is for solo play. I would hate for anyone else to be able to see how stinko I am at it. :o ;) Thank you for clearing that up, Kadaten. :)
I'm right here, Katholyn! :)
