Busy busy day here. I am so tired. I hope I can make it up for Grey's Anatomy tonight!

Our trick-or-treat is this Saturday . But tonight was our town's downtown Halloween festivities. All the businesses stayed open and passed out candy. It was fun, but cold. It's about 45 and windy out.

The kids are past the age of dressing up in cute little character costumes. Now it's just black capes and crazy masks. I'll try to post a few pics this weekend!

Speaking of costumes, I am sitting here at work, with my Micket T shirt, Mickey hoody and mouse ears ! I never thought there would be a day that I would wear mouse ears to work!

They need to add this guy with a set of ears !

Since Shelly and I talk about shopping and/or food constantly --- I know she won't care if I post this right in the middle of the PTR-- it falls into the shopping category!!!!!

Old Navy has their coats on sale today--- I got three coats with shipping and tax for $91! The one I got for Drew is the Pea Coat. I bought him one three years ago (and it was super big on him then) -- it is still holding up. Good quality.

Some of the kids coats are only $25. Very good deal!!!!

Hello everybody!! Another long day here. I think they are going to try to work me to death since starting next Thursday I am taking almost 2 weeks off! But it was a fun day to work with all the Halloween celebrations going on!

It is just so odd to me that trick or treating would be on any day other than Halloween! I get that it is on a Sunday this year, but it's just foreign to me that it would not be on the actual holiday!!

Oh well.

Trick-or-treat has always been the Saturday before Halloween here. Even if Halloween is on a Friday, it's the Saturday before. I don't know of too many places around here that it is actually held on Halloween. Unless Halloween falls on the day of the week the town already has set for trick or treating. I know the next town over had theirs last night. We would have went if it wasn't so dang cold out!

Yes -- One WEEK!!! One week from right now we should be arriving in Orlando!!!

I think I liked yesterday's forecast better. . . Looks a little chilly & wet the first few days and a little wet the last two.

But I'm sure it will change at least 7 more times before we leave!!

So, I had been thinking about doing the Pick A Pearl in Japan. . . Something I never really thought I'd do, since I don't have a daughter. But I was telling DH & the boys about it and they all think I should do it! Actually, I think the boys are kind of looking forward to it. I told them they could pick out the oyster for me!! We were talking about it over on the November Countdown thread and someone posted a link for the carriage necklaces for the pearls. So I headed over to Ebay and ordered one! Got it for $5.50 with shipping! It came in like 2 days!! It even came with a chain, which it didn't say it was going to, so that was a surprise. Here it is ~

DS even pointed out that if you turn it upside down it is a Mickey Head!

Hi Missy! I'm having trouble keeing up, but wanted to stop by to wish you a great trip!! Don't look at the weather... they were predicting rain for our whole weekend trip & even a hurricane... we didn't get a single drop!

I love pick-a-pearl! The girls and I do it every trip. You will enjoy it! The men and women who run the pick-a-pearl are always so nice and funny.
