The tet is not open to everyone and has little to do with online check-in. However, when the system is in full use it is expected that online check-in and Fastpass+ selections will coincide.

ASMovies. But I didn't expect to see FP+ since it ASMovies hasn't been mentioned much for testing.

I logged into my disney experience today and it gave me the option to sign up for the mymagic plus (or whatever it's called) and to order the magic bands for us. I chose the color and names and they are ready to be shipped. I went to sign up for the FP+ but realized I don't have my park tickets yet. I ordered them thru Orbitz and won't get them until the day before I'm in the parks. Once I'm in DTD at guest services getting the tickets, could they link those tickets to my magic bands??

Did the option to signup pop up right away or did you have to look for it?

On Tuesday 9/13 was able to order MB. On Thursday 9/15, received email saying MB have shipped, as I was reading the email a knock came on my door. UPS delivered my BM by 9:30am. We are staying at CR.

For those getting the invites, what is your stay dates? Seems like September visits getting invites right now?


We are doing Beach Club in November and would love to try it out, hoping of course that all this testing improves the system

We are DVC and staying at BLT from the 2-7 of September and Jambo from the 8-17. MDE has just let me customise magic bands for the Jambo house stay. I hope the arrive in time! I have bought UK 14 day ultimate tickets direct from the disney uk website but have been unable to link them through MDE. I have also been unable to make any fastpass selections but it looks like it might le me later on. We have not received an e-mail asking us to participate in a test, It just gave me the option when i logged in.

The plan as far as we know it is EVERYONE staying on-site at a resort, plus Annual Passholders, will get a MagicBand. Others may purchase them for a fee (not currently known).

MagicBands are not the same thing as Fastpass+. MagicBands are a replacement for KTTW cards with a few more features.

As far as testing goes, only those with eligible reservations are getting MagicBands and testing Fastpass+.

Fastpass+ will be available to everyone with a ticket eventually.

I am at POP 9/13 - 9/20 and did not receive an email or letter but the options for FP+ popped up last week and by Friday night I was able to customize Magic Bands.

We are staying at POR 9.15-21 and got to customize bands this week. Had to go back through the MDE full website and reconfirm online checkin before the customization would appear. Thanks to andre @ portorleans.org for the tip on how to fix it.

If only FP+ were unlimited for onsite resort guests though...

They are not shipping them internationally. So you will get them at check in.

I was 30 days out from my trip at POR yesterday. I hopped online to see what was new...and I saw the tips you guys were throwing around.

THANK YOU THANK YOU!!


I saw that I could choose my fp+ for the week I was at WDW(9/16-9/23). This threw me into overdive. I changed my check in date, logged out, logged back in...I could customize my magic bands!!!!!!!!! I made sure to put Mr S and Mrs S, as we will be on our Disneymoon. But now Iget my pretty pink one!!!


If it wasn't for you guys, I wouldn't have gotten the chance to customize be mb!!!
