Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum. Just wondering if anyone has worn a Fitbit while in the parks and whether or not it interferes with the MagicBand. I would like to wear both on the same wrist but wasn't sure if the technologies are compatible. Thanks!

I wore my FitBit on the same arm and didn't have any problems at all. I was shocked at how many steps I took per day in the park though! Haha.

Thanks so much! That's exactly what I was hoping to hear :)

They use entirely different technologies (and work in completely disjoint frequency spaces). They should work fine together.

Wore fitbit and MB on same wrist this weekend and had no issues.

FWIW, we actually took it very easy and still did about 6 miles each day. :)

Yep, I wore my FitBit with my Magic Band and had zero problems. We ended up walking 10-12 miles per day (but it didn't feel like it.)

Ok I know that my fitbit will register 150ish 'steps' on my drive home. What we need to compile is a list of rides and the average number of steps they register on the fitbit. :cool1:

I will be going Jun 28 to July 5th so i will try and keep a log, but if anyone is going before then it would be great to start something asap.

Fuelband user here and the magic band didn't interfere with it either.

(I don't think the MagicBands work in the bluetooth range so they shouldn't conflict...)

My family and I all wore our fitbits with our magic bands in January without a problem. We are pretty compettive so comparing the number of steps taken was a fun end of day activity!

One thing to note: The number of number of floors was a little off with TOT...even though it doesn't count floors when taking an elevator, it did count the floors on the ride. We rode TOT twice and I had 80 floors that day!!

While the MagicBands do have a Bluetooth LE transceiver in them, it's not yet active. The RFID portion works on different frequencies. Shouldn't have any conflicts, even if they were active, though, since this stuff is all made to interoperate.
