MagicBand...should I or shouldn't i?!

I Realize that FP+ and MB are the hottest thing at WDW right now but I'm just not sure it's for my family. We are arriving on Nov. 16 and I am able to customize my MB's now but I can't make up my mind and was hoping to get a little input. We are a family of 5 (3 children under age 10) and we are traveling with my parents and sister. I don't want to schedule certain times to be at certain rides right now, in September. I like the regular FP that we can just walk up to and get a ticket. So if I choose FP+ how many attractions do I get to choose a time for? And what if we end up not being at that attraction at the allotted time? Also, can I just do the MB's without doing FP+ or is that pointless. I'm just not sure what to do! Help!

They are going to ship you MBs whether you customize them our not, so you might as well customize them,

As for FP+, use it our don't, it doesn't matter. We think that in November, you will still have the ability to pull fastpasses the old fashioned way too. Since they haven't rolled it out to offsite guests it is a good bet, but then again anything can happen between now and then.

Remember, the ride times you pick have an hour leeway so it's not like you have to be there at an exact moment in time. I scheduled my fast passes just to be sure of hitting a few key rides, but I may still switch things around. For now I'm just so excited to have a FP+ for Fantasmic!
