Magicband/Resort Stay Question

If I book a Disney room from somewhere like Expedia/Undercover Tourist do I still get magicbands? Has anyone ever had any problems with reservations booked at either of those sites? I'm hoping to plan a trip for October this year and I just thought it would be easier if I have my questions answered before booking. I have never booked outside of Disney website and have not been there since they started magicbands so I'm new to that. Thanks.

Yes, you still get magicbands. However, make sure that when you customize them in your MDE account that you change the shipping address to your address, otherwise the shipping address will be of the company that you booked the room through.

I've booked through Orbitz twice and have had no problems at all.

You may have to call to request the specific confirmation that will work in MDE.
