MagicBand+ and pools/water parks

Just curious if anyone has had any issues with the new MB+s coming off in pools or on water slides. My older daughter lost hers at the pool at WL when we were there in August (got it back the next day).

We're going to TL on Saturday. I know we can just take the off and put them in the locker while we're not buying food or anything, but I'm curious if anyone else has had any issues, or if it was just bad luck.

Never had an issue with new or old magicbands in hotel pools or water parks.

Di you have issues or was it just the one kid? Might have just been an outlier.

I have found the newer ones don't click in quite as tight. I haven't had an issue but could see how it might cause one.

We found the finish wore off daughters magic band after she wore it in the pool. Functioning was also sketchy, but we were there right at launch, so that is likely why.

Our friends child lost hers multiple times a day. Never fit right, never worked right, and had to go back to epcot for a replacement.

Not a fan of magic band plus. YMMV.

We use bitbelts with ours... ordered them off amazon in the adult and kid sizes. It's a little slider that keeps it on if it comes un-snapped. I've always had trouble with magic-bands unsnapping on me!

Can't speak to the pool/water slide question specifically. However, though I never had any problems with previous versions of MBs staying on, my MB+ does come undone with even a slight brush against something like a pocket, so I ordered a pack of sliders and wore one of those on it (like a bit belt, but not that specific "brand"). No problems at all with one of those on the band and it was thin enough I didn't feel like it added any extra bulk.
