FE: No Thank You! Taking a break from the FE on this cruise.

This is my 4th DCL cruise but 1st Caribbean and 1st 7 day so I am very excited!!

This is George's first DCL but he's cruised with other cruise lines in the past.


Looking forward to both a relaxing and adventurous vacation.

Side note - I haven't been out on these threads in such a long time. I've gotten accustomed to Facebook with a smaller group of friends but seeing all these posts brings back so many memories of fun times and fun chats.

Hi Lisa, I'm from NJ also and this will be my first Southern Caribbean cruise but my 13th DCL. I'll be bringing my daughter and her family who live in PR. This is their first cruise. They have been wanting to travel to other caribbean islands so this trip leaving from San Juan is perfect for them. I think you will like the 7-night cruise. The longer the better for me. I'm really envious of those doing this B2B with the WBTA. Shame its such a short trip between islands.

DH and I are booked on this cruise, along with my parents and another couple. We aren't interested in the FE group but were wondering if anyone is looking into a private Mixology class. We would be interested in joining in, if there is still room.

If nobody has already looked into this I would be happy to contact DCL if there is interest. I believe that you must have 20 people. We are 6 so we would need 14 more. Any interest?

FYI some info I gathered today while chatting with DCL

Dining Rotations
#1 L/AP/C/L/AP/C/L
#2 AP/C/L/AP/C/L/AP
#3 C/L/AP/C/L/AP/C

They confirmed formal on Sunday, Pirate on Tuesday and Semi Formal on Thursday.

Terminal opens at 11, on board by 9:30. Safety drill is at 5:15. Make up Safety drill if you miss the first one is at 10:15. Boarding starts at 1. Staterooms ready 1:30-2:30.

Airport to pier transfers. Meet outside baggage claim once you have your bags, and you'll be directed to a bus, van, mini van or taxi by a DCL rep depending on your travel time and party size.

Off the Fantasy a week ago. Fantastic cruise with friends. Celebrated my and Seeulater's birthdays on the 11th.

Looking forward to this cruise. We have done most of these ports on a 11 night cruise about 8 years ago.

I will contact DCL to set up the session. It will probably be on the first day in the afternoon, since that is the only sea day. Once I hear from them I will probably need everyone's stateroom numbers so they can bill each of us. It should cost the same as the regular session, so $15 per person.

Well, we decided to join the FE. I posted on the FB page but wasn't sure if I needed to post on here as well (I am on FB more than here). This will be our 2nd cruise! Anyway, here is our info:

There are 5 of us...me (Amy), dh (Greg), dd Olivia(8), dd Ashlyn(6), ds Broderick(4)

We are GTY so the only info that I know is that we will be on deck 8.

We are beyond excited and I am trying to figure out how to tell our kids and when because last time we didn't tell them until we were getting on the ship (the Magic). Everything was a complete surprise and their very first Disney experience! And what an impact it made on them...they ask everyday if they can go on Mickey's Boat again! So we are also super excited to see the changes that they have done to the Magic! However, because we didn't tell them, I worked all hours of the night trying to complete the FE because I had to do them by myself. So I am enlisting their help this time around! Please let me know what other info that you need from us!

Any advice on seeing these ports? Are you docked in the city and able to walk around town to get a feel for the islands? I'm thinking of what the Alaska cruise was like, everything near the pier. Or if we were docked at Old San Juan. Five islands in seven days is a lot of excursions. Can't imagine my 4 year old grandson riding in a bus for 45 mins. to get somewhere. Thanks, this is my 13th cruise on DCL but my daughter and her family's first. I'm trying to plan the best that I can.
