YAY Tina.....way to go!!!

Can you tell I am excited ?

No cruise for us this year.....moving is expensive! All of our resources are going into the house this year. Then we'll be settled and ready for this cruise with our Mates!

This is the first year that we don't have any cruises in about ten years. We always have at least one if not more in a year. This makes me sad. But who knows....maybe they will have a great Florida resident discount cruise later in the year that we can just jump on. We'll have to wait and see.

I know how you feel Deb ! Totally worth it though. I am sure you will enjoy the perks of being a Florida resident soon enough !

Which Jan cruise is it?

This January 10th on the Magic. It's a short one but I won't complain.

I had a dream last night that I was on this cruise. We were doing lots of ports and having a blast, but getting very tired. Hahaha!

I think part of the reason why I dreamt about this cruise and all the ports is because we were just chatting about the subject. That plus I'm exhausted from all the packing that we're doing. We move tomorrow so we have been busy.

I put together our conversation and the fact that I feel so tired. But the ports were great! We were having a fantastic time!!

I definitely agree. It's so totally worth it. Maybe we can pick up a good bargain by the end of this year. I'm hoping!

Wow! I have never seen a cruise meet this busy so far ahead of the cruise! It inspired me to say "hi". I reserved this for my family on opening day, but haven't been thinking too much about it. We're all sailing on the 14-Sep Western Fantasy this year, so I've been focusing on that one. I hope we will stay on this cruise for next October - the ports look amazing! If we do, it'll be myself, my husband, our 7-year old son, and my parents... and anyone else I can talk into coming with us! We would also love to be in the FE. I just want to wait a bit to commit to that.

Well we made it to Florida. So now we are officially residents. We're not going to stay at our house until all of our things arrive so we took a hotel suite near the airport. We got a great price, which is good because we'll be here for about a week until our moving truck makes it down here with all of our possessions.

John is still sleeping today. He's exhausted from all the driving he just did. Not me, I slept the whole time in the car so I'm up and ready to go. I think I'll just keep it a chill day and wait until tomorrow when we get keys to our new home and can go investigate. Many pictures to be taken and posted on FB, so look for them.

Glad you made it safe and sound Deb!!! I cant wait to see pictures. My friend is a realtor and I go to alot of open houses with her just because I love looking at houses. LOL And YAY to being a Florida resident...what great perks you will have now

Thanks Robin. Look for pictures over on FB. They're easier to post over there. I loved looking at houses too with our realtor.

Since this cruise is not until Oct 2014 and our last cruise was Sept 2012....we're about to go through withdrawals. So we were kind of hoping for a bargain resident cruise sometime later this year. We'll keep our eyes out. It's necessary!

It IS exciting Michelle. This was a dream of ours two years ago. We said when my husband retires this is where we wanted to live. John is contemplating getting a PT job with the mouse too. Not just yet. We have lots to do until we're fully settled. So your dream can come true too, just like ours did. Then I hope we'll be neighbors one day. haha.
