Magical Fireworks Voyage? EDIT-Anyone interested? June or July

Thanks everyone! I have found another family and we're all set! I'll be sure to post back a Magical Fireworks Voyage report once we get back! I'm looking really forward to it!


I took this off WDW's website (pasted down below). I'm assuming this if for Grand Gatherings. What is the amount of people you need? Has anyone gone in with other DVCers to do something like this if you are short people?

EDIT - I called and they said min 8 people. Anyone interested that is going week of June 6th or week of July 18th? We're short at least 4 for June and 2 people for July. (You can have more than 8 for the cruise.) I don't know if this would work but it sounds like a blast!

Yep, it's for Grand Gatherings groups and is offered on Saturdays and Mondays. The start time depends on what time Wishes is scheduled for that evening.

If you are going to be at WDW the same time as someone you know then you can get a Grand Gathering number and try and book this event. It looks like it is a lot of fun. We were going to do this but then we were able to get the Grand 1.

Grand Gathering groups can also participate in a dinner at Epcot with priority viewing for Illuminations, a Safari Celebration Dinner at AK and a special character breakfast at MK.

I think most of these events are reasonably priced for what you get. I've read that they fill up fast.

I will also be in WDW during those two weeks! What a coincidence. We already have the regular Wishes cruise booked for the June trip for my DD birthday. Even though I don't think you can hear all the music on this cruise, I think we'll stick with this to be more personal for the birthday.

I would, however, be interested in it for the July trip. It would be me, DM, DD, and a friend. PM or email me if it can be worked out.

Hi everyone! So far I have us (party of 6), pooh.kim (party of 4), Joan S. (party of 5) and another person through PM (party of 2).

This puts us at a party of 17. I don't know what the max is for the boat. Anyone know? We might have to split into 2 groups if everyone is OK with that.

This thread might have to start new groups if there is more interest.

I'm gonna call later today and get more info. I'll try to find out the max for the boat, too. I think I have to set up whoever is interested with us as a Grand Gathering group. LOL I think I have to have some number to be able to book this cruise?

I would be interested in June if you still need folks. I'm taking a friend and her two children down June 5-13. It's her second trip (she was there 10 years ago!) and the first trip for her kids. We'll be celebrating her birthday and her son's birthday that week so the cruise would be fabulous!

Maybe there is another DVCer that would like to join up with your party in June?
