We will be at AKV on April 30. When should I let MS know that we want to use this service??
I also have a friend coming down on our points, will MS send her tags to me also? She's staying in her own room if this matters.

Let them know as soon as your have your flight info. They will send the luggage tags about a month before your trip.

Since your friend will have her own room they should send her the tags for her luggage if the reservation has her name and address on it.
