Magical express when booked via orbitz or Expedia?

Can you add this by calling WDW after booking online or do you have to book with disney direct to get magical express?

For Orbitz I had called first and the rep said I could do with Orbitz code, Disney 12 digit one or just my last name, I just had to wait about 3 days for information to populate in their system.

Now that I found that link I do all of my own ME

You can do it by calling or adding it online. You will have to wait until your itinerary says "confirmed" with a disney res#. I have only used expedia, but if you open the itinerary there will be a green CONFIRMED and next to that a long number. That is the disney number that you'll need to book DME.

No matter how or where you book, if you have booked on-site reservations, you can add it by calling.
