Magical Express Tickets?

I thought I'd heard somewhere that you are sent tickets in the mail for magical express pickup (I tried searching for that thread but could not find it). Is this true? And if so, should I be worried that I booked in late August and did not receive any yet?
 
You don't get tickets per se. What you will get is an info packet, with your vouchers in it, as well as two yellow luggage tags for each person on the reservation. These tags go on your checked bags before you leave home. Then, be sure to keep your info packet in your carryon bag so that you have it handy to give the CM at the checkin desk. The voucher will then be stamped and you're off to the bus line, where the voucher will be scanned before boarding the bus.
Most people seem to be getting their DME packets about 3-4 weeks before they leave home.

if they haven't arrived 10 days before you leave - then call them.
 
I booked Magical Express with my trip, (booked through Small World Vacations), and i was told that i'd receive my tickets 2 weeks before we go there...

We booked the DME in April this year for our WDW Trip next week. The Booklet with vouchers and luggage tags recieved some weeks later. But now there is a change by our flight.

We called the ME Center last week, we sent an email, we talked with the members of our travel agency... but nobody could tell us, what exactly to do. Someone said, we have to cross out the flight date which is printed on the luggage tags and write the new over... Another lady tells us, there is nothing to do, it will go this way. The third information we got is, to carry our luggage by ourself...

What shall we do now????

Nothing. Unless your flight changed by a lot, I wouldn't worry about it. You could actually arrive at MCO around noon, but get a bite to eat before leaving for your resort. So, you might show up at the DME desk about 2:00...no problem. You don't have a particular bus that you have to make it to. The buses just keep coming, and when you show up, you get on the next one to arrive. I wouldn't change anything on your yellow tags. As long as DME has the correct info in their system, your bags will get to you.
OH, and you do NOT have to carry your own luggage. Just tag 'em, and then forget about 'em.

Nothing! You have notified DME of the change, so it should be correct in their system. Even if the date changes, all you have to do is let them know. The tags may have info on them that is incorrect, but as long as it is correct in the system it's no big deal.
And you do NOT have to carry your bags. Just tag 'em, and forget 'em. As long as you have given DME the updated info, your bags will find you.

Just use the tags you have the changes are in the system, the bags will find you.

When we book our vacations we usually change something with our flights and our bags always found us.

When you show up at the ME desk they confirm all your arrival and departure info anyway. This last trip we were 2 hours late and had no trouble at all.
 
I think they must've been caught up or something, I got me ME package about a month ago and I'm still 2 months out :)
 
On the DME tags, all that really matters is that they have your reservation number and your resort correct (and these are coded in the bar code). As long as this is correct, you'll get your luggage.
