Hi All - Can you help me out here... We have a trip planned for April 7th - 10th with Magical Express both ways. I just found out that I have to be in Orlando on the 6th for work. So we are going down a day early staying at the JW Marriott and then just ubering it over to the resort on the morning of the 7th. Obviously won't need ME for the 7th now, but will still need it on the 10th when we leave. If we don't show up on the 7th do they cancel our whole reservation? Can I modify it (didn't see the option online) for just the 10th? Thanks!

They won’t cancel your return if you no-show on your arrival, but I would suggest calling (407-939-1936) to cancel your arrival so they can plan/staff accordingly.

Edited to add: As others have pointed out, the direct number for Magical Express is 866-599-0951.

I second what Beesly says. Just call and change the reservation for just the day you need it. It doesn't take long, and I've always found the DME people to be awesome.

Don't call that 407 number. Call DME directly at 866 599-0951 and tell them what you need to do. The 407 number is Disney number, and Disney is the middleman here. All they will/can do is take the info and pass it on to DME. You are likely to be told by the CM, that what you want to do can't be done, as they generally don't really understand how DME works.

The direct call will have negligible wait time, and the agent will handle you request quickly and efficiently.

Excellent advice. I have found that a direct call to the 866-DME number is always quick and efficient.

I disagree with the statement in bold. In my experience, calling the Disney number will get you transferred to the DME folks. I didn’t have the direct number handy when I posted - both will work, but I agree there will likely be less of a wait calling direct.

YMMV, of course, and you're entitled to a different opinion, but I have never had a Disney CM be able to actually help me with anything DME-related. I've had the Disney reservations line tell me that it wasn't possible to take DME one way only, that everyone in my party must travel on the same bus, and that I could only ride DME on my check in and check out days. None of those things are true. I've even had Disney CMs insist that the only way to book DME was through them and it could only be done at the time the hotel reservation was booked. If I didn't do it then, I wouldn't be able to use DME.

That's why I started calling DME directly. Too many experiences with CMs who just didn't understand what was going on.
