Magical express question

Ok I am planning a trip for me and my best friend. We have been friends forever but have not gotten to see each other for over 5 year because we live in different states. Since we are both flying into MCO from different states, her flight arrives like an hour to 2 before mine. We are wanting to use the luggage service with magical express, how would we do this with 2 different flights at 2 different arrival times?

YOu would just supply the flight information of both flights.

I've done it before without issue. Just make sure you both have your magic bands in your possession

Also- she can wait for you to arrive so you could ride the Magical Express bus together.

Just make the reservation for each of you as stated above but only the "lead" person on the reservation will get the DME info and the magic bands in the mail.
You can then mail the DME Luggage tag to her so she can use the luggage delivery feature of DME. Otherwise she can just claim her bags at baggage claim and check in with DME to ride the bus as long as she is listed on the DME reservation. Or as a pp mentioned wait for you at the airport rather than the resort and you can ride together.

Either way to use the luggage delivery feature someone will have to mail the yellow tag to the other traveler.

There is an alternate for the luggage without the yellow tags. Upon arrival, give the luggage claim check to the folks at the DME check-in desk and they will go to baggage claim and retrieve the bag(s). It's been reported by several people that this does work, but personally I'd be a bit leery that my bags would sit unclaimed on the carousel for a while.

We have signed up for magical express for a party of 7.After signing up we decided to rent a van also. Some of us will be riding the bus. If we tag our bags with the names of the people not riding the bus, will they still take them from the airport?

Should be fine as long as some of your party is riding DME. There are a couple of sticky threads at the top of the transportation board that will give you more info.

It's very easy. There will be separate areas on the DME registration form to split you up. We did this same thing last week. My dd and I on one flight, her best friend (apart for two years!) on a different flight. She arrived after we did...we just met up in the DME area.
If you lame the reservations, you can mail her the yellow luggage tag. That's what I did...worked very well.
