Magical Express - Different Resort

Hello all. Quick question in regards to Magical Express. We'll be staying in a different resort than others in our party. On checkout day, we'll all be together. Can I use the Magical Express at the resort that the rest of our party is at, rather than the hotel that we're checking out of?

AFAIK, you can only use DME to/from the resort on your reservation.
