Magical Express and stroller

We are checking our own stroller on when we fly and we are using Magical Express to deliver our luggage/stroller to resort. My question is this.....I know it takes a bit for your luggage to be delivered to resort. We will only have a few hours (3-4) at most to walk around Animal Kingdom when we ge to resort so we want to hurry out of hotel and get going. I know they will hold our luggage/stroller until we are ready back at our room,....BUT we probably will want our stroller for going around Animal Kingdom. Do you suggest just not putting a ME tag on the stroller and go pick it up and put on bus? But that kinda defeats the purpose of NOT having to go to baggage claim.....maybe we should just not worry about a stroller for Animal Kingdom since we will only be there about 4 hrs at most. Our daughter will be 3 years and 8 months when we go.
Any advice on this? or experience????

Just gate check the stroller when you board the plane. This way you will also have it to use in the airport.

Yep. Gate check it, and pick it up when you get off of the plane. When you go to board the MagicalExpress bus, they will put the stroller underneath it then, so you will have it right away!

Is there a size limit on the stroller? Ours is not an umbrella stroller but it's not huge either.

no size limit at the gate check. they just give you little tag for stroller and you claim it when you land. sometimes, takes about 5~10 min extra until they get your stroller but you could use it at the airport and you will have excess to it for the park.

When you gate check the stroller, when you get off the plane, do they have it right there at the gate for you?

We sit in the back of the plane and ours is always just outside the door when we get off. If you have a bulkhead seat and your the first one off that might be a different story.
