::MinnieMo Ok I just found out my mother in law wants to fly down with us in June to go visit her sister for a few days, and then spend a couple of days at DW with us. She would fly on the same flight to and fro, but my question is how to get her to the airport the Tuesday we fly out (5:50 p.m.)I know my family of five will be using the Magical Express since we are staying at the CR, but is there a way to make a reservation for six? Thoughts.

PS She is actually not bad for a mother in law so I don't mind too much :earsgirl:

The only problem might be if you're exceeding the room maximum. Are you trying to squeeze 6 people in one room?

I'm not sure if Disney is going be checking ME reservations against room occupancy but I would. Only guests staying at a Disney owned hotel are eligible.

If we did it would be for the last night (Monday night). It was suppossed to be myself, my wife, my 7 year old, 5 year old and soon to be 3 year old. I really don't want to do this but I am not changing my ressie because she wants to spend a couple of days with the grand children. My other thought is perhaps she could get a single at a Disney resort and then bring her suitcase over the day of the flight. And then we could leave together on the Magical Express.

Well it is not a problem to book a one way on ME, but I somehow think the CM is going to be a little curious about the 6 reservations for one room.

Actually if I'm not mistaken you can put 5 plus one child under 3 in the CR rooms....might want to check that with disney, but I am pretty sure I remember that.

They will probably charge you for an extra adult in the room the night or 2 she is there, but it is easy to just call and add a 1 way to your ME reservation.

Mother's in Law must be shipped as excess baggage. Airline will charge you based on weight and stowage will be in the baggage compartment.

The good news is that with Magical Express all you have to do is check her in at your departing airport, and she'll show up in your room when you arrive !!

SB in KY. 1st off sorry about MS beating Kentucky, but I'm an Illini fan so go Big Ten. But thanks for the info. I did go ahead and book her into the room. After much thought..... :teacher: we figured the kids would be so tired they would pass out on the floor. And yes it is $25 for the extra adult, and she is thrilled. This board has really helped me solve any issues, thanks to all.
