I am from Tennessee too. We live in Murfreesboro. I will have my dd traveling with me who will be 18 at the time of the trip.

Hi all, we will be joining you on this trip! It'll be me, Cayley, my husband Paul and our ds Cameron, who will be 12. I was happy to see Kim and Chad have a couple boys in the same age area, I panicked about 10 minutes after we booked about how many kids his age would be onboard. Anyway, we are from Boston and can't wait to pull into port on the best looking ride in town!

We are on this cruise as well! It will be just DH and I and we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary. This will be our second TA. We did the EBTA in 2010 and it remains our favorite cruise to date...with Alaska as a close second. We are Platinum CC members (13 for me, 12 for DH), DVC members (OKW, HHI and BWV) and our DS works at WDW full-time. We'll probably go play in the parks with him for a few days before we sail.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Michele and I will be joining you, as well. This will be our 12th Disney cruise and our 3rd transatlantic but 1st time eastbound. We're also staying on board for the Norwegian Fjords. Looking forward to it!

My favorite DCL cruise was 2014 WBPC cruise, with the EBTA cruise in 2013 a close second!

We are also Platinum, I have 2 more than DH, as I went on 2 more DVC Member Cruises. How did you get 1 more than your DH.

Thanks Bobbi...it was a real sacrifice to get to that 95%. Although, with so many new restaurants opening in Disney Springs I'm going to have to get cracking if I ever want to get to 100% (or even just keep it at 95!).

We are doing the EBPC this Fall and are really looking forward to it. We just came off the Alaskan last Monday (2nd Alaskan) and it was wonderful! But the EBTA remains our favorite. I did a 4-day cruise with my Mom a few years ago so that is how I ended up with an extra one. The EBPC will be #14 and the EBTA will be #15 for me. I'm hoping that DS can get us on a sailing or two with his CM discount as well.

well, this was due to be our 2nd TA (2013 EBTA was our first) but yesterday we booked on a whim for Royal's Anthem of the Seas on their WBTA to New York this Oct. as it was such a bargain price and it's 20 years we last visited NYC.
We know it's not DCL but there seems so much to do aboard and it's all sea days so seemed the ideal opportunity to give it a try 'on the cheap'!!

A CM discount would be wonderful! How nice that you went on a cruise with your mom!

My mom is 95 and we bought into DVC when my mom asked to spend her 85th birthday in WDW! So, we bought into DVC in '03 at BWV, and had her birthday celebration with 15 friends and family in December'04. Mom lives in a nursing home now, but we've great memories to talk about. She cruise on Princess with us, British Islands, and the Greek islands as well.

We'll celebrate our 48thiversary when we get off the ship.

Our Ohio house is due for closing on July 31 and we hope to become snowbirds, Cape May NJ in summer, Fl in winter. Mom is in NJ, so we'll always be traveling back to visit in winter.

We are on the August DVC Member Cruise, so we will spend a week looking at areas and houses in FL. We've narrowed it down to 3 areas. Once we decide, DH will consider applying for a seasonal position with Disney, or something with DCL.

I am 7 weeks into recovery from 2 knees replaced. The MC will be my first chance to see how the knees work when I snorkel! I had to give it up when I couldn't climb back onto the boat, that should no longer be a problem!

oh yesssss, we're still on this one (and actually on DCL Vancouver to Hawaii around 6 weeks before Anthem!).
Which ship is the podcast on? We've only been on Adventure so far.
We love to cruise too - which is really weird as our first one was 1998 Magic 4 night and we didn't really like it, so didn't start to cruise again until 2012 and now have 13 under our belts.

which park is my favourite? That's like asking who's your favourite child (if we had them lol!!)
They all have something special in their own way - Ca as it was my first park (1984), Fl as it has the 4 parks to enjoy, but then Paris is so much easier to get to for us in the UK (and is great for staying onsite with 6 hotels and walking to the park). Japan is totally different to anywhere else, but then HK completed the 'set' and it's sooo tiny that it's super-cute!
Planning to go to Shanghai when it's been open a couple of years, and maybe incorporate a cruise and a visit to Chengdu for the Panda's!

Need to work on 'all' DCL ships next as we seem to be drawn to the itinerary on Wonder and Magic.

We sailing from Vancouver to Hawaii too! We'll be on RCCL...Then staying in Aulani ... That's this September!

I was interested in your description of different Disney parks. We are thinking about going there after this cruise and our trip to Normandy.
