Magic Your Way Question

If you book a Magic Your Way package, do you have to get the dining plan in conjunction with the park hoppers? In other words, is it possible to get the room and the dining plan only. I want to get the Park Hoppers at my local Disney store and get that out of the way. Also, we are staying at 2 different hotels and going to disney parks for more days than what we are staying onsite. It's my understanding that if you get your Park Hoppers in conjunction with your room you can only use them for the length of your stay, right? Thanks in advance!!!

To have the MYW dining package, you need to purchase the room, the dining package and at least a one day-one park ticket. Then you can purchase additional tickets with park hopping privileges for as long as you want. I think I'm right...anyone?

If you are getting dining you must also purchase tickets. The length of the tickets is not set. You would not be able to get dining if you purchase your tickets at the local store. You must purchase them WITH your package/packages. Changing hotels would mean separate reservations. So you could purchase dining with your first hotel and tickets that would cover your entire stay. Then not have dining with your second hotel. If you want dining with both hotels, you can either do the same thing then purchase everyone a one day ticket that you do not have to activate and could save for another time, or you could just make both stays completly separate. hope that made sense.

edited to add....as far as tickets only being for length of stay - you can get for whatever number of days (even more than your length of stay) but they do expire after 14 days from first use unless you purchase non expiring tickets.
