We were in 2134 on the Wonder about 7 months ago. My parents were in 2136. Those are aft. Zero issues with noise from above, but the adult lounges are forward, so that makes sense. We didn't hear any restaurant noise, either, though. It was a SUPER location. So easy to avoid the elevators for everything but Cabanas (note - we don't have mobility issues). However, I had a huge issue with vibration when the ship was really moving at night. I know others have as well, although I would also add that it seems we're not a majority of guests. Just from my family subset alone - I was the only one really disturbed by it. DH and my 2 kids slept fine, as did my parents. I was pretty baffled that they slept through it! I guess you're either really bothered, or you are oblivious, and there is little in-between. We are booked for Alaska next summer, and my parents wanted to stay in the same area b/c they really liked our stateroom location and thought it was a great value (comparatively speaking). We booked further mid-ship to try to get away from the vibration - 2116 for us and two other cabins nearby (additional family going). The add'l family didn't want forward, or I would have suggested mid-forward, and while yeah - we could have just booked rooms spaced around the ship, it would have upset the kids to be separated from their cousins.
