Just got Off Magic Eastern and had these slight differences
1. Dining times are fixed instead of 15 minute staggering but this has been known for a bit
2. When checking luggage at curb I informed the Porter of exactly how much "Fruit Punch" I had in my suitcase and I was planning on bringing it into the terminal and he said he would take it as long as I knew they would be stacked.
3. Upon re-booking a cruise on board I received a certificate in my room good for approx 30 days to give to a family or friend to take advantage of the onboard discount. It was a numbered cert with my name on it and instructions to fax it in.
4. If you do not originally book your cruise on board referencing a TA you are using DCL is apparently cutting commissions which depending on your TA may negate some on board incentivives
5. There was a 18 inch barecuda at the family beach happily swimming.
6. The slide barge is now near the watersports but not open.
7. DCL uses photo recognition to group your photos together for you to purchase a $400 photo cd. It was to our advantage at the boarding photo to take one large group photo with our traveling party as you can buy one CD per stateroom when I inquired about combining.
I also got some kids that looked a bit like mine.
8. Celebrate the Journey is now Friendship Rocks
9. Vinylmations are addicting
10. If you ask Yelena from Rockin Bar D to make you a special Mint Julip she will. It takes 24 hours to make.
11. If you get the beer bucket buy 5 get 1 free and you like Bud Lite Lime you can ask for the 16oz bottles for the same price.
12. They now have large Jenga in Diversions. Blocks are about 3 by 10
13. Bars now have flights of drinks. Ex. Martini Flights
14. Promenade Lounge has a specialty smoothie menu only available there
15. There is a key chain of the Fish outside your door in the gift shop
I am sure there is more but those are some of the major/minor differences I saw.
