Hi Everyone! :wave2:

I checked the stateroom reports and there is not a review of this room and I had a few questions so I thought I would ask here to see if anyone has stayed in this room before...

First- Does anyone know if there is a steamer trunk in this room - there will be 4 of us in this room and we need all the storgae we can get:rolleyes:

Second - Was this room noisy? - I looks like it is under the Walt Disney theatre -I am not so concerned about noise from there as I assume there maybe noise from there in the afternoon/evening when there are shows - but more about noise when docking, loading/unloading supplies. etc.

Any help you can give me would be great!

Thanks!! ;)

Funny you should post about this room. Last week a posted a question regarding this room versus room 2034. I had originally booked rm 2512 for the Western cruise Nov. 28, 2009, but switched to rm 2034 instead. Not because I heard anything bad about the room, I just wanted to be a bit more midship. Actually, in researching all the rooms around it, rm 2512 seems to be a pretty good room. I hope someone can help you more, but I just wanted to post since maybe you are inquiring about the same cruise date.

Did you stay in 2512? I have it booked currently my only concern is the long way to the beverage station on the pool deck. Is the extra space worth the long distance?

Our other option is deck 2 aft but it would be a regular ocean view room.

This thread is 15 years old and the poster was last seen in 2013 … so I doubt they will answer. 😂

Edited to add: Wait - I was wrong OP is on here! Maybe they will report! Kmccoy is the one who hasn’t been here since 2013!

BUT we stayed in 2004 on the Wonder (which is a bit further forward) and it was definitely worth the extra space. Not sure how much extra room 2512 has, but we had enough room for a chair between the bed and the couch - it really made a difference for a family of four.

As a verandah lover, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed our room … very close to forward elevators, very easy to catch elevators up to the pool area from deck 2, very easy walk up to deck 3 restaurants and deck 4 promenade (the loungers there are often empty … so easy to get to when you want to be outside and don’t have a verandah). Overall, I loved deck 2 … I have deck 2 booked for an upcoming cruise on the Magic (wanted connecting staterooms, so the rooms on the curve with extra space were not an option or I would have totally booked).

I agree with the pp - I stayed in the opposite side on 2504 and the extra space was so great to have on an Alaska cruise! We had the extra chair plus a bench under the window (which was mostly used for storage 🤣)

If your family can feel what 2 feet more depth is, then possibly yes, worth it. Especially since it doesn’t cost more.

We had 2022. Across from Room Service door - never heard it slam or open and close.

The few reviews of both Magic & Wonder have no mention of noise from areas above.

I don’t think you will find it long distance. And these are dead end hallways, so no through traffic.

The stair and elevator location makes it easy to get to O’Gill’s Pub for trivia, then a quick scoot around for Fathoms (whatever it’s called) or the Atrium and two dining options.

For Deck 9 drink station and Cabanas, the forward elevator is usually quick, followed by a nice walk outside to your destination.

We decided that we’d pick this area if doing another Magic cruise - but we felt we would give one of the more forward cabins with the extra space a try. Something like 2512.

We stayed in 2514 last summer on the Wonder (same layout as the Magic). I don't think it had extra space, but it was very quiet. Yes the walk from forward up to the drink station on the pool deck is far. But I'd much rather be forward that aft (especially since the Wonder had a lot of vibration in aft).
