Magic ~ October 22, 2016 ~ 7 nights NYC/Bahamas/WDW/NYC

They are more like the paper fast passes, you can't make them in advance but you can use them on any ride and for any time slot, no prescheduling necessary. I think the morning we get into port canaveral we should be able to add the one day hopper passes they give us to our my Disney experience accounts and make 3 fast passes for one park with that however the popular attractions likely won't have any fast passes left on them at that point.
So looking further into this I guess our ticket will be loaded onto our key to the world card so not sure how we'd be able to add that to our My Disney Experience account. Since the fast pass system was the paper ticket system when Disney last did a cruise where it included Disney World as a stop we really will have to wait until the first cruise in Oct gets back.

Hi everyone !

Just wondering do we go through customs in Orlando? Is it as lengthy of a process as when disembarking in Orlando?

If not do we need to take our passports with us to get back on the ship or just our card?

Thanks!

Hi! Yes we will go through US Customs when we get off the ship at the DCL terminal, then we'll head directly out to the busses to take us to the parks. You will need your official ID, when it's a Passport, or driver's license and birth certificate for US citizens.

I don't remember it being lengthy at all. They had several Customs agents set up, and I don't remember really waiting much at all. Everyone was very excited, that much I do remember! We were the very first cruise to be using the DCL cruise terminal as a port stop. It was very well organized. :)

Definitely also take your KTTW card with you as well. :sunny:

I was talking to a CM at the reservations line yesterday and she noted that Halloween night would be on Monday night, of course subject to change. We have been on Halloween cruises the past two years (just works out that way not intentional) and it seems so early in the week to me, given the story line that goes with Halloween and the Halloween tree needs time to grow. So I guess we are looking at:

Saturday - Boarding and casual
Sunday - Formal
Monday - Halloween
Tuesday - Castaway and Pirate
Wednesday - WDW - casual I would assume
Thursday - Semi-formal
Friday - Casual

So who is dressing up fro Halloween??

Just thought I would share.

58 DAYS and Counting...

Enjoy!

We won't be dressing up for Halloween, but we'll put together something for Pirate Night. pirate:

I am hoping I pulling ff a Halloween costume for myself... My kids want me to make them a costume... I had bought 2 princess costume and litho ugh they did not express their disappointment when I showed them... I know they did not like it... Lol .. Elena and Jasmine are going back... LILO hula costume is in for both... Maybe Moana for myself.. :D . How about you?

We are still deciding. We try to do a group things where the kids go full out and us adults can do something simple to compliment them. Last year it was Star Wars themed and the year before Jesters. So we will see....

We are going to dress up for pirate night. My daughter (4) has a Cinderella costume but somehow I think she will change her mind to Elsa I think I might try and find the mix and match costumes at party city for myself. I am more excited then my is daughter for Halloween on the boat!!

I finally got my stateroom . It's cabin 2014... I looked into the deck plans and I am not thrilled to be right under the adult lounge in deck 3. I hope noise won't be an issue... Definitely will bring earplugs just in case.

Yes I got mine too 2506. I think the room will be great but I requested not to be forward and they put me about as far forward as we could possibly be! We just don't like forward because it's further from the buffet and if the kids go straight up to the pool deck they end up in the spa/adult section which is awkward for them. I'm just kind of annoyed that they would so blatantly ignore my request. Plenty of other GTY people ended up aft and they didn't make any kind of request.

I too requested aft.. I rather be under the dinning room... But they ignored my request as well... :(

I'm sorry that you both got forward cabins when you requested aft. :( I've sailed twice in forward cabins, both out of New York City which offers the potential for rougher seas than sailing to/from the Caribbean. We ended up having nice sailings while in those cabins, but I can totally understand the logistics of wanting to not be there. We were a party of all adults though, so being right below the Quiet Cove area was good for us.

So now that it's September we can finally say:

Remember the FPs discussions... I have heard elsewhere that 6 FPs will be issued... No way to know for sure.. But that sure boost up my spirits. :D

I have heard this also, we are hearing they will be bonus fastpasses and it is still just a rumor plus no one actually knows what a bonus fast pass is. Ideally it would just be 3 more anywhere any ride fast passes but some are saying that we will be able to do the thing discussed here about adding your ticket to your my Disney experience on the morning of and booking 3 past passes in one park, others are saying bonus fastpasses have been given on other occasions and they were for select non e ticket rides. We will see. Anything on top of the 3 anywhere any ride fastpasses we get will be great. What is everyone's plan for your Disney day?

Here's mine, we're trying for all four parks! I think I'm going to need to rent a scooter, my hips wont make it!
We'll be up at 6 for a 7:30 MK bus then rope drop for MK, we have 3 or 4 rides we want to do including hoping to get to 7 dwarfs at rope drop because we don't want to use one of our fast passes (unless we get those bonus fastpasses!) then a dole whip, monorail over to Epcot for the new Soarin and Frozen (with 2 of our fastpasses) and eat lunch at food and wine, take a boat over to HW studios (this is where I think I'll be about to pass out!) mostly just to say we hit the park, kids and hubby do Star Wars and mom sits in a lounge with a drink! Taxi to AK for dinner, a safari at sunset (3rd fastpass) and to watch the street performers they now have at night and if it's open (which is highly unlikely) we'll stay for the ROL show which we were supposed to see on our trip this past April!

My plans begins in MK as well I would like to do all the mountains and 7 dwarfs... Iam hoping I can do that without using FPs. I was planning to stay in MK till 1:00pm or 2 then head to HS but your plan sound much better I might adopt some of your ideas ... That monorail to Epcot sound great! Then I could do test track and the new soaring. Possibly FP for both... Followed by AK for the mountain and Dinosaurs... Then HS for fantasmic and the tower of terror and rowing roller coaster... Close to fantastic time the wait time is low ( I think) then I'll use FP for fantasmic. Rivers of lights ... I though it's not up yet... Is it? Iam feeling tempted, if so.
