Magic Kingdom Welcome Show

When I look into My Plans in the disney experience app, I see the MK welcome Show is listed at 840 on October 25 as a possible show to see that day, although when I click Oct 27, the app has it "greyed out" as No Times Available, the 840 isn't listed as an option to add to My Plans. Does this mean that the show is not going on at all? Is this the same as the Rope Drop event? Is it seasonal? I guess we never go that early to see it, but I would like to see it on this trip. Any thoughts or if anyone has seen it in October, I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks.

From my understanding the welcome show is a daily event, year round. And if you show up early enough and are lucky you just might get picked as family of the day It definitely helps set the mood for the day
