Magic Kingdom Swap - Progress - MORE MAILED ON 4/14!!!

Am I in every group yet? :rotfl2:

Please add:
A - Magic Carpets
Q - Statue of Walt and Mickey
V4 - "M" agic

Thanks!

Thanks for updating my groups. I'm really sorry I didn't see your post from last night. I skimmed really quickly and just missed it. The boys were bugging me for the computer this morning and I was in a hurry to get outta their way.
The Minnie "M" you made is really adorable. These letters look like lots of fun. I've never used them before. How do you use them in a layout?
For the M-I-C-K-E-Y groups with the red, black, yellow and white, can they be patterned papers or would you prefer we stick to just solid colors for better consistency?

Thanks.

I'm updated to here everyone.

Tyniknate, I've never made an altered letter before either, but it's fun! You can use them in multiple ways:
- an embellishment on a page
- as the title since the object is for the letter to represent the entire word
- as the first letter of the title and you add the remaining letters however you want

For the M-I-C-K-E-Y letters, you can use patterned papers and you don't have to use all the colors of red, yellow, black, and white. But, don't use some other color that's not Mickey, like purple! If we stick to those 4 colors then the letters should be able to be used together.

Can I add the following group?

Group ZY3 - Altered Letter Only - Characters
4. Goofy

Ooooh a new swap, yeah!

Off to (All star) cheerleading practice, but I'll put in my 'order' when I get back! LOL

Group S - We're Here

Group M - Minnie

Group B - Boats

Group R2 - Mickey ice cream

Group ZZ4

Also what about doing names of names other than Mickey? Like each Princess and perhaps each 'land' .. something like that .. Pooh, and the main characters ..

I've got you added! Thanks for joining!

As for adding other name groups where we'd make each letter of the name, if there's enough interest I will, but we've never done them before and I thought we'd try it with Mickey to see how it worked and make sure they will match and work together before doing others. If Mickey works well, when I do the character swap this summer, I'll have more groups of those.

I'm glad this closes tomorrow! I was relooking at the list and category Q intriqued me. Please put me down for wishing well.

Thanks!

Rita, I've heard from Michi Belle and she'd like the Frontierland spot in Group X3 so I'll keep you in Adventureland in that group.:goodvibes

Oh trust me .. these will go over! lol .. once you have a 'letter of each word' (LOTW) .. then they make for fast, adorable pages, quick!

They can be used as titles, up, down, across you name it ..

I am not sure what to do with just one letter of the word done up .. say for Pirates, I just have a P, nothing else .. well I'm a lazy scrapper and prefer things in swaps done, so that's why I passed on those ..

But one of the things I LOVE about the LOTW's is s/h! You can be in ten groups and it wont be more than a couple bucks in s/h, yeah! lol

Ok, I will watch for the other swap, thanks!
