MickeyTeacher, you asked for Popcorn in Z2 after ChiefDragon so I've given the spot to her. You can have the Parade or DoleWhip spot in Z2 since you asked before Believen and PinballFamily or you can stay in Z3 with Popcorn and wait for it to fill. Please let me know what you want to do.

I have never done an altered letter before, so I'll give it a go. I'll close out group ZY2 and do Daisy.

In the meantime, if anyone has any examples of altered letters - can you please show me?

Yes, I've put you in there. Tinkryansmom specifically asked for the M spot in ZZ3 so it's fine.

One questions.... since I'm late to this game. Do we need to cut the letters from a specific font? I know that there is a size requirement, but I want to check font before I get started.

No, all the letters (even MICKEY) can be cut from whatever font you want. One of the reasons I only did one of the entire word groups so that we can see how it does and maybe do more of them later on. I think having a variety of fonts will look cool and make us use something outside of our comfort zone when we get it back.

Well, I doubt I'll do a prototype tonight! I'm so not a night person. It's getting close to my bedtime. I'm usually up in the morning hours before anyone else in this house so I'll work on it then. I've never done an altered letter so it'll be a learning experience too!!!

I'll let you know about the Dole Whip spot in Z2. I added you to X2 and ZZ3 and kept you in ZZ2.

For those that wanted to see an altered letter, here is the prototype I made up for my Minnie Mouse spot. (sorry it's blurry - guess I got too close taking the picture!)

I used the Mickey Font Cricut cart
the black paper is a 4 inch shadow
the polka dot paper is cut at 4 inches
the white paper is cut at 4 inches

I used a lace border punch to made the white bloomers
I used some decorative scissors to cut the polka dot paper to show the bloomers

The polka dot paper is inked with black chalk

There are 4 layers of flowers and a red Minnie bow brad.
