If you look at any map of Walt Disney World, doesn't it make more sense to have the Wilderness Lodge, Polynesian & Grand Floridian to share the same bus line & have the Contemporary use their own buses? I mean the Wilderness Lodge, Polynesian & Grand Floridian are on a straight line in terms of being together & the Contemporary is a good distance away from the Wilderness Lodge by car & bus. Also I remember when I stayed at the Wilderness Lodge in 1999 & 2000. they shared with bus service with the Polynesian & Grand Floridian, while the Contemporary shared with the TTC. So who thinks they should go back to this way of transporation with these Resorts, however I would not have the Contemporary bus stop at the TTC, because it would be a lot easier if they did not.

So what are your thoughts about this subject?

I figure that Disney has been moving hordes of people around, pretty efficiently for many, many years. I would think that they know the most efficient way of doing pick-ups and drop-offs in order to save on gas costs and wear and tear on the buses. In a 'perfect world' I would love it if each resort had their own buses to each of the destinations.

The first thing you have to consider, is that Disney Transport is a VERY dynamic operation, and that things are ALWAYS changing.

The current routes are (which can and DO change daily)
Contemporary -> Polynesian -> Destination
Wilderness Lodge -> Grand Floridian -> Destination

For some locations, it might be:
Wilderness Lodge -> Fort Wilderness -> Destination
Contemporary -> Polynesian -> Grand Floridian -> Destination

During the morning, the resorts run "Magic On Demand" which is a demand based system. Basically, this means that if the demand warrants, a seperate bus will be sent for each resort. Or, different combinations may be used best fit the demand. (Although, the top grouping is what is more commonly used)

Resort geography is thrown out the window, because they're all within the same area. The only difference between going CR->WL and CR->GF is a minute, or two at most. In the grand scheme of things, it's negligable.

In the afternoon, things change slightly, but not much.
