It's early and I can't remember. Can you ride the train all the way around the park. And if so, how much time for a round trip?

TIA

Yes it circles the park, and usually takes around 20 min.

ETA: It still stops in Fantasyland and Frontierland (and of course Main Street), just FYI.

Would the 20 min estimate include the stop at the other locations. We wanted to get on at Main Street and make the circle, then head into the park.

Thanks

Yes, about 20 minutes for the full circle, including the two stops in Frontierland, and Fantasyland. We take the train at least a couple of times each during each trip to Disney World.

IMO,too few Guests look at the WDW Railroad as an ATTRACTION in itself-not just a means of getting from Point A to Point B.

Guests should ride the full "Loop" and experience this wonderful ATTRACTION with the Narration and all the sights to see("Sneak Peek of Splash Mountain, unique view of BTMRR,Indian Village, etc.) along the way.:)

We love taking the train all the way around the park. Its like the peoplemover as a relaxing break.
We really like the "peak" into diffferent attractions along the way.
It takes about 20 minutes for the loop.

Yep! We do too! We often do either the People Mover or a loop on the train as our 1st ride of the trip to say hello to the park. Corny, but true. LOL! :-)

DH and I ride the train the full loop as a "must do" attraction. It's also nice to give your feet a break and just enjoy the views.

I like to ride the loop 2 or 3 times around without getting off as a lovely way to sit and relax but still feel like you're doing something. :)

We love it and ride the full loop every trip.

The train ride is the perfect place to relax and still enjoy the experience. I love the People Mover too but it's much shorter of course.

Any word on if the train will drive through the Tron ride (aren’t they making a Tron ride near space mt or did I dream that?)

We like getting on in fantasy land, it's easier to get to the train platform since the train is ground level. A few steps or a short ramp gets you to the train.

Any word on if the train will drive through the Tron ride...

I hope not. :scratchin

(Looks like it may tunnel under it in some fashion.)

HERE is the Tron announcement.

Below is an enlarged detail of the illustration of the new area where the WDW Railroad passes under (in some way) Tron.

The 20 minute train ride is now where we all sit and make our mobile lunch orders while enjoying this great underrated attraction.
