I go a bit crazy with planning. It’s how I have fun before the trip. It doesn’t usually go exactly as planned now that we have a kid, but we still get a ton in when there is a sound plan in my opinion.

Notes: Daughter is not tall enough for Space Mountain and we will be back on a second day with other guests so we won’t miss it. Sadly Thunder Mountain is closed on our visit.

Tuesday Aug 30th

Fast pass times and times of other events are-

Peter Pan – 9:10-10:10

Buzz Lightyear – 11:40-12:40

Mine Train – 1:35-2:35

Dinner @ Liberty Tree – 4:55

Wishes Fireworks Desert Party - 8:20

Breakfast at the Poly CL lounge -Arrive for Opening Ceremony / Rope Drop. Straight past Main Street and through the castle.

Ride Order:1. Mine Train, 2. Pooh, 3. FP Peter Pan, 4. Under the Sea, 5. Pics with Ariel, 6. Barnstormer, 7. Dumbo, 8. Tea Cups, 9. Speedway, 10. FP Buzz, 11. People mover (time check, if time Astro Orbiter / Laugh Floor), 12. FP Mine Train, (Missed line Carousel on map but it will fit in here), 13. Haunted Mansion, 14. River boat relax, Line check 15. Splash Mountain (fast passed on second day at MK) Time check – if no splash maybe a full circle train ride, 16. Pirates, 17. Jungle Cruise, 18. Tiki tiki tiki room, 19. Magic Carpet, 20. I had this as a picture spot but I think it’s a restaurant now so that’s probably out now, 21. Dinner at Liberty Tree (my wife’s favorite place to eat at all of Disney).

After stuffing ourselves and a full day we will waddle down mainstreet for some shopping and hop on the monorail back to Poly for a rest. After a short siesta it's back to the park for the Wishes Dessert Party. If there is time we might hit the character greet @ Town Square Theater on the way in.

Pretty sure the times will line up on this route with FP times. If we are ahead of schedule we just do some more shopping or people watching along the route. If we are behind there are a few skips that can be hit on out second day at this park.

Friday back at MK - plan will have everything we missed. Family Magic Tour, Story time with Bell, Philharmagic, Fairytale Hall, CoP, Space Mountain, Laugh Floor, Orbiter.

After a super long day at MK, we should all be ready to passout, we will need sleep to get ready for Epcot on Day 2. May not be a rope drop but it will be an early start.

Day 3 - couples massage at GF then a late start to experience AK at night.

Day 4 - Back to MK

You mentioned that you would be at MK at rope drop and head right through the castle to your 1st ride, Mine Train............

Last time I was there was Nov 2014........at rope drop we followed Mine Train Castmembers to the right of the castle, between the castle and the tea cups, and this got us to the Mine Train entrance way ahead of those that went through the Castle.

Yeah it's a bit faster, but trying to tell my 5 year old we arent going through the castle isnt worth it :p

I think your plan sounds great! I would probably want an earlier meal on Tuesday because waiting until 4:55 might be rough. But if you plan on grabbing a QS meal, then you would be fine :) Or maybe you aren't like me and my daughter and enthusiastically map out where you will eat and when, which is fine too lol

And by the way, your avatar with your dogs is stinking adorable :)

I kinda giggled when I saw that you included a map of MK so we could refer to it. As a newbie, you obviously don't realize the expertise of this group.

My best advice for you is to breath. With a small child, its good to have a plan, but you never know what may strike her fancy. She may want to spend 45 minutes doing something that you would have plotted 10 minutes for. If she does, let it happen.

OP, thank you for including the map! I'm like you and I also find even if the plan changes, we're able to make much better decisions when I've spent so much planning in advance. I never thought to mark up a map but I am definitely going to do that today. It's a great visual and for someone like me who gets grumpy when hot and in crowded places will be a great asset. Have a great trip!

The only thing that strikes me is knowing you have a 5 year old daughter, she might really enjoy the Peter Pan que which I don't believe you see if you FP that ride. Obviously this is all subjective but if you aren't familiar with the PP line, I think there are youtube videos that show how cool it is. We went there first at RD and I was actually a little sad that the line was soo short that we didn't get the full experience, of course we could have let people pass and linger longer but try telling that to a bunch of teenagers on their first day of vacation ;)! Seriously though, you may want to check it out if you aren't familiar with it. If the wait is 20-30 minutes I might consider doing stand by instead of FP.

I appreciated the map. I'll take someone posting a custom map in lieu of someone using an acronym for literally everything.

I'm new here but not to Disney. I used to be a Florida resident and would often go multiple times a month. My daughter has been to Disney about 25 times before she turned 3 :). Obviously she doesn't remember those trips but she's seen the pictures.

We moved to Jersey when she turned 3. So she's been there for week long trips twice since then and this will he her 3rd week long trip. She definitely remembers those trips.

I do realize that my schedule is a bit "tight" for a little one. I know it won't go completely as planned. It's more of a perfect scenario outline that we can alter as needed.:smooth:

We are back another day at MK with no FP for PP. So we'll still see it.

Behold! The day 2 Epcot plan with another map!

Remember these aren't hard plans, but more of a guide line based off fast pass times. No numbers on this one. I'd rather not use abbreviations.

May or may not be rope drop, but it will be early.

Only FP that really matters here is Frozen for DD5... I think they need to move a few things around with FP structure at this park.

Character Spot - 10:20 -11:20
Spaceship Earth 12:30 -1:30
Frozen Ever After 3:20-4:20

Breakfast at the Club Level Lounge, walk to the transportation and ticketing center to monorail to Epcot.

Start at Test Track (we actually enjoy this more than Soarin and with the additional soarin track we figured we go to that second and still be safe with wait time), Soarin DD5 first time on both of these, she was less than a finger under the height requirement last year. From Soarin we go to Nemo Ride and Turtle Talk area. The manatees and hidden mickeys here are always fun. Now to Figment! Man I miss Body Wars and that creepy Micheal Jackson show. From Here we go to the character spot FP then off to innovations west to look around and use a D visa photo spot. Next up Space ship Earth FP look around innovations east. Off to World Showcase for drinks and shopping

Mexico first, skip Norway for now, China for Lunch at 9 Dragons, one of the few places at Epcot we haven't eaten at yet. Germany to get a beer and Werthers for a snack for later. Italy for a glass of wine. Skip America, Japan for Sake, skip Morocco, France for a glass of Wine. If not too buzzed, UK for another beer. Canada to look at the moose stuff. Then back to Norway for Frozen

Then we exit the park for a big surprise back at Poly!! When we get back to our room my sister in law and mother in law should be in the room where it is now fully decorated to surprise my Wife for birthday! My Wife is going to FLIP out!!!

Some group pool time and a drink in a pineapple before going to the CL lounge for fireworks.

FIist couple days look amazing. Getting more and more excited each day.

OMG 15 days to go!!!!!

Actually I included the map because of this boards expertise. If I missed something or there is feedback on the route I'm down for suggestions or just hearing your experiences.
