:scared1: and :sad2:. Not even if I only had one full day! :rolleyes1

Harumph. Us DISers have some words for that family...:snooty::headache::eek:

Our 1st trip to the World was in September 05. Our dd wasn't yet 2. We went only for 4 nights. We only went to MK and DTD. We just had a limited amount of time, our dd was young and we concentrated on what we thought she'd like best.

I'm assuming they have never been to pass such a harsh judgement on those parks. I'm all for people having their own tastes...but these people sound like they will come back and complain to the TA about how boring their trip was.

Yes, we would only just do MK--no it isn't b/c the other parks are stupid. We've been enough that we go for what we are in the mood for. ETA: We've even gone there on vacation on a park-free trip.

I talk to people who do that. Our first family trip was when DD was in K. Her favorite park was AK. It was my least favorite but I totally enjoy it now.

I also think people should visit all the parks. But I'm a Diser.

Hey, if it's one less person in front of me for Soarin', please ask your daughter to respond to those comments with "why yes sir, you are correct, the other parks are stupid."

Thank you.

I can't even imagine not going to the other parks. I think the only way I would just go to MK is if it was a one day or less trip. There are some crazy people out there!

We have friends that went to WDW and spent 4 days at MK- and their kids were about 5,7,9

now a few years ago we had one day and went to Epcot.... but we were leaving the next day for the Disney Cruise... and we had been to all the other parks about 2 years before :goodvibes

My boss is actually planning a trip to Orlando as I am typing this. She will be spending most of the time alone with her 6 year old daughter while her boyfriend is at a conference. She said she is only going to Disney one day to see the Castle (already has a Cindy's ADR) and is then leaving because she doesn't feel that there is anything else that will interest her & her daughter. What? :scared1: Too each his own, I guess.

I wouldn't normally do anything like that but for my next trip I am flying down on Friday, doing Epcot only on Saturday, doing the Wine & Dine half marathon Saturday night, and flying home on Sunday.

If I weren't going back down in January for marathon weekend I would extend the trip and stay a bit longer though.

While it does sound strange it is easy for us Disney vets to conceptualize how little some people know about the parks. I have heard everything from "There are more parks then Disneyland Florida" to "Isn't Epcot the park that is inside that ball?".

We will be there April 30 - May 4 and we are only doing Magic Kingdom and Epcot (two days in each park). We do not have park hoppers. It may be weird to some, but for a short trip we want to spend a lot of time at our two favorite parks. I couldn't imagine doing less than two days at MK!

They should have gone in 1980, when DH & I went on our Honeymoon and that is all that was there!

I did. We got tickets to the National Championships in 2009. We only had a few days to figure out where to go/stay/fly so that we could get on the ball with airlines, hotels and the such and we could only take off a few days to do it.

We spent two nights at ASMu, and visited only the MK. I am still trying to plan a trip back, to see the rest, but 1 park was better than none and MK is the classic Disney experience.
