I could fill a spot in the last group if you have one. I'd do Toontown photomats and ... not sure tags, topper or box & tag.

the boarder is all cricut. the hands were 2 boarder feature and 1 single creativly glued together. I'm hoping to have the prototype of my paper pericing done tonight and I'll post that.

OK ladies...one of the ideas behind a "Newbie" swap is to allow you to ease into things without becoming overwhelmed. That's why I had originally posted that you were limited to one "Land" group and one "Attractions" group. We've had instances in the past when someone would sign up for multiple groups and then for some reason be unable to fulfill the commitment. When one person is signed up for a LOT of groups it becomes extremely difficult to find someone to "Angel" for those spots.

Those of you who have asked for additional spots seem to be on top of things. I'm putting you all down for that last group, but please, please don't let me down! Otherwise I'll be having to fill an awful lot of slots myself...and I just don't have that many Magic Kingdom photos to need that much swap stuff! LOL

I was thinking for the free for all doing something for Mickey and the Judges tent, like a couple paper pericings of him and a topper with his autograph, and then I see the other two people in the group are doing toontown things. how does that sound? I'll get things done hopeful by next friday and in the mail.

You can count on me to finish, but I do understand your concerns. If you are not comfortable, I'll be fine with the one group. I haven't started the Toontown stuff, I haven't bought my supplies, so it is no loss. Plus, I can see there is another MK swap next month. I can use my idea for that one.
Let me know what you decide.

Sorry ladies - I didn't get the group closed out last night. DS (26) stopped by to say goodbye before his trip to CA and he stayed later than I thought. He's going with a group for the trials for the Tae Kwon-Do team from the US for the World Cup next year. Then this morning I was having trouble with my Internet connection.

I'm working on getting through the posts here & PMs I've gotten about that last group. I'll update it as soon as I can.

As for the concerns about over-committing...I've expressed them and you all have said you'll finish. That's good enough for me.

BTW - Yes, I do need another trip to WDW!! If only I could convince DH! He's one of those "been there, done that, there's more to do in the world" kind of people. DD & I would go alone, but she's still suffering with these daily migraines so for now we just can't plan it.

boarder was 1 1/2 or 1 1/4 it was the shift I'm pretty sure it was 1 1/4 the hats were 1 except for goofy's that was 1 1/4, the black piece was 1 3/4 and the red was 2. So the boarder maybe 1 1/2, I'm sorry I didn't write it down and I don't have it nearby to measure.

I am still waiting to hear back from 2 people who PMd me about joining that last group. IF they both still want to join the group, there would be 7 instead of 6. Will that cause a problem for any of you?

I'm going to post it as closed while I wait for replies. You may want to wait to shop for that group until you know for sure if it will be 5, 6 or 7 in the group.

And please let me know - either here or via PM - if you object to possibly have 7 in the group.

Sorry to hijack thread for a moment, if you use bazzill what color are you cutting out mickey's face in? I've been using French Vanilla, but I think it might be too light and not enough pink.

I'm getting kinda nervous after seeing all the work people are posting so far for a "newbie" swap...It's all so excellent. I hope my work meets expectations. Are pictures always posted during the progress and before they are mailed? It's hard not to peek at them but it kinda takes away from the surprise when your package gets returned...I'm sure it's just me and should have more self discipline and just not peek at the pics
