Magic Kingdom lines will be worse than ever!

So this method will work as long as you have an extra 1-day ticket, and magic bands from a previous trip, right? If so, most of us on the boards do have previous magicbands already but not an extra 1-day ticket, but one could be bought. Not sure if I am missing something here or not, but if not I would think Disney will eventually close this loophole.

Using this method to gain extra FP+ means having purchased extra Disney tickets that will not be used as well as possessing extra MBs for the FP+.

Hmm... maybe it's just me but I somehow don't see Disney rushing to close this loophole.

The extra magic bands would have to be attached to a different MDE account.

There appears to be some reason Disney is not turning on the feature that requires a ticket be used for admission to be eligible to use FPs associated with it. I'm guessing it would cause a cascade of tech issues they don't want to deal with (or can't).

But those tickets can eventually be used. I can't imagine Disney is crazy about people using benefits from one ticket over and over on subsequent trips. I'm guessing if they could close the loophole they would have done it long ago.

They have closed other FP+ loopholes and quickly. There must be a reason they can't close this one. Either it would cause major havoc with the system and/or be extremely expensive.

Yep. To all of that. I think that if there was an easy way to do this, it would be done already.

Yes, I'm concerned for wait times too. Going on a DS's school trip next week. We don't have the tickets yet so no FP+. Yesterday afternoon on MDE I saw a 20 min wait for Journey, 45 min wait for mission space and 120 wait for TT.

First time in 10 years we decided to skip our trip to wdw. I'm glad they are doing upgrades but that's just too much money for what is essentially three 1/2 day parks.
can't wait for 2017 though.

Are you cutting a trip short or did you plan it that way?

Cutting it short - will be here 8 nights instead of our originally planned 10 nights - just don't have the feeling we usually have - think we just need a few years away, and to give time for most construction to be done. Know it is usually 'on going', plus normal ride closures, but this is too much - the worse we have ever seen (since our first trip in 1972).

Also the cold blustery winds are not helping any!! The boats were actually shut down for awhile this evening.

this was for 2/7? Journey was at 20m or longer at 11:15, 1:15 and 1:30. 20 minutes and under from 2:45 to close and opening until 11:15. This according to Josh's wait time blog post. doesn't seem that bad.

DD and I each had our MBs from our package with 3 FPs we reserved at our 60 day mark. Then on a new MDE account I assigned an old one day ticket to a person and reserved night before FPs. Then I reassigned the ticket to the next person and got them FPs. Using this method I loaded two extra bands for both DD and myself - this gave us each 6 extra FPs. This was a big help at MK and DHS. Not so much at AK and EPCOT.

I think more and more people will catch on to this trick and abuse the fast pass system. Especially as it gets more crowded at MK.

Sorry, but I'm of the mindset that ANY wait for Journey is "that bad."

One man's "abuse" is another man's "loophole"... I'm confident WDW knows about these loopholes, yet for some reason has chosen not to close them.

I agree, Disney knows of this problem and knows it is not worth fixing. But I bet there are plenty of people on this board that have an old one day ticket from the old FD days when you had to get a one day ticket. And it is easy enough to create an MDE account and get plenty of FPs on multiple MBs using an old ticket that you have had for years just seating around and can still use after they close this loophole.

Actually I think more people will abuse it by using the kiosks for same day FPs instead of using old tix to get NBFPs.

I think any time of year at MK isn't a challenge if you get there early and have at least parts of 2 days. We were there for Easter week last year, were in the park by 7:15am and knocked out Fantasyland, Circus, Tomorrowland, and Haunted Mansion by noon. That said, we are skipping 2016.

Bummer. Do you always do 10 day trips and do you stay on property? I'm amazed at those who spend so many days at Disney. Don't get me wrong I love it! But 4 - 5 days is enough for me and we don't spend every minute in the park either. Are there special things you love and do in the parks. I'm always looking for new ideas?

Agreed. Especially if you come at least once every few years I just can't imagine staying for 10 days, not to mention the $$$!

We are doing 11 days, staying at OKW and have a 7 day pass for Dec 2016...we had a 5 day pass last time and could have easily done a few more days. We don't go every year so for us we spend more time at the parks.
