Ive been checking park hours and the Magic Kingdom says its only gonna be open till 10pm on our entire stay June 1-5? AK is open later till 11. Is this correct? If so, im extremely let down. I enjoyed it being open till 12

It would be very unusual compared to other years if MK hours don't get extended for June, July and August compared to the 10pm closes they currently have posted every night. It's also very common for hours to be changed multiple times before the month arrives. That said, it is rather later than usual to not have more hours posted yet for June (in the past you may have seen at least one update already by mid-April) so nothing is certain!

Expect revised June hours to be posted within the next 30 days.

MK has EMH from 10a-12p on June 1st
I just noticed and id love to do it.. But i cant justify paying an exta 100$ per person for what will probably be just 3 hours at most since we have a later flight. But if its my only oppurtunity for less heat and crowds..

EMH (Extra Magic Hours) are NOT the "paid events" that Disney has started.

AM EMH = One hour. Begins an hour before the regular park opening time.
PM-EMH = Two hours. Begins at the egular park closing time.

EMH will offer selected park attractions that are open during those specific hours.

EHM events are on specific days (they are listed on the calendars) and are exclusive
free perks for guests who stay at any WDW Resort.

/
Disney After Hours is the new extra cost event, running selective days until May 19th (not on EMH days)

And not to be confused with the other new paid event Disney Early Morning Magic-Fantasyland on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

EMH are no extra cost to WDW resort guests

I know how EMH works. I should have explained myself better. We are not planning to go into the park on the day we get there because our flight gets in around 8pm and we wont get to the CR till 9ish, so i find it a waste of money paying 100$ per person to add an extra day of park tickets. My bad :)

I guess im wondering if the hours really are going to get updated before the trip? I find it so strange that MK now closes at 10pm in June, while AK hours are updated to close at 11PM, and EMH pm is till 12.

Update:
And i vaguely remember a few summers ago the MK pm EMH in early June was until i think 2am??

WDW may still extend park hours as they track resort bookings as paid and then adjust accordingly based on their crowd forecasts, possible you will find later MK hours for other days during your visit. We are there May31-June 5th.

AK hours are extended to 11pm based on planning for new evening events (which are still not on the schedule).

I understood what you meant. But just an FYI look at the prices on tickets. if you have 4 day or more tickets it is about $15 per person per day added.

I'm a little confused by this. If you are planning on being there June 1-5 (but not going to a park on June 1), are you already buying 4 day tickets? If so, can't you add a fifth day onto your tickets for about $16 per person?

We originally were bookes June 2-5th and got 2 day park tickets. Now that our stay is extended June 1-5 we are most likely adding an extra day. So right now adding another day costs $96 per person according to Disney. Maybe im confused, we usually do longer stays and park tickets are less per day so i understand where you're coming from

Edit: and we are not planning on a park day on the 5th. As of right now were planned for epcot on the 3rd and MK on 4th.

Not sure what your airport to WDW transportation plans are but if your flight gets in around 8pm getting to CR at 9ish seems pretty unrealistic to me. So may not be worth even $16 per person as likely not checked into a resort and get to MK before 10p-11p, so only 1-2 hrs of park time remaining.
