We are heading to the Magic Kingdom for the first time in many years with our 4 year old & 18 month old 2nd week of September. If we are spending 2 days @ the MK how would you schedule your fastpasses? What are the 6 most important rides to obtain fastpasses for?

6 most important fast passes in general, or ones that your small children will want to do?

The two most popular FP+ will be for the Anna and Elsa meet and greet, and the new mine train ride which opens May 28th.

After that, it will be the mountains (Splash, Space and Thunder). Enchanted Tales with Belle, Peter Pan, meeting Ariel in her grotto are all also popular. Mickey also talks now exclusively at MK, and his meet and greet is available on FP+ and your kids may enjoy that.

The fireworks and parades are also on FP+ and are a nice option since you can show up shortly before they begin and still have a nice viewing spot.

your family sounds a bit like mine. I have a 4 year old son and 18 month old daughter. When we go in October he will be 5 and she will be 3 weeks shy of her second birthday.

We are also doing 2 days in MK followed by a MNSSHP. The younger child will stay at the resort with my inlaws during MNSSHP, so it will just be me, my wife and son. The other two days are all six of us, but some FP won't apply to the younger kid. And I don't believe my son will be tall enough for Space Mountain.

right now my fastpasses choices would be:

day 1
7DMT
Buzz Lightyear
Anna and Elsa, if we can get it.

day 2
Splash Mountain
Jungle Cruise
Haunted Mansion

If we don't get the A&E FP, then Haunted Mansion gets switched to day 1 and we get a FP for to ride 7DMT again on day 2.
