We've been staying offsite recently, but this summer, we'll have two nights onsite at the end of our vacation. I'd like to do MK Evening EMH since we've never done this before. Right now, EMH hours are listed as 10:00-12:00.

I'm assuming you can't get as much done in the evening as you would during morning EMH. But I'm curious what wait times will be like when compared to normal operating hours. For those in the know, could you answer me this:

1) Will wait times be significantly shorter during the 2nd hour of EMH?

2) What would your strategy be? We'll still have 3 FP+s to use earlier in the evening. Trying to decide which rides are best ridden with FP+, and which are best saved for EMH.

Thank you in advance!

1) Yes.
2) Don't sweat those kind of details.

If you specifically want 7DMT use FP.

Otherwise, you'll likely have no trouble riding just about anything between 10:30 and Midnight.

1) Probably. When we went, the stuff we cared about was broken down that hour. (Cared about Space, splash, and Thunder. Splash isn’t open for evening EMH and Space and Thunder broke down after the first hour or so. We could have done 7DMT which had a posted 40 minutes in the second hour although I suspect it was a lot shorter)
2) Almost everything will be a walk on for most of EMH except for the most popular rides, so you could FP the most popular ones (7DMT, etc). Keep in mind the rides that won’t be open (like Splash) and you can FP those. (Don’t FP splash in late evening though)

Great info! Thanks so much.

1) Yes, but not as much of a difference as if the EMH were 11-1 or 12-2, for instance.

2) A PP mentioned that almost everything will be walk-on for most of EMH but the most popular rides... this was not quite our experience last August when EMH was also 10-12 (I'm still hoping they extend regular hours back to 11 or 12 this year when it gets closer, as it was in years past). We saw long-ish waits for things like HM and Pirates in that first hour -- much less in the 2nd hour. We still FP'd Space, Splash and 7DMT, and did Space again if the lines were short near the end of EMH -- wouldn't expect that for 7DMT :).

This is really helpful since we're going in July. Thank you!

You’ll be surprised. We’ve always found that we can do a lot more at evening EMH than the morning one. A lot of guests tire out and leave early leaving virtually all of the rides with little to no waits.

I like to pick a nice bench outside one of the headliners and watch the kids run by over and over again.

I love eve emh!!! We have always got a ton of rides in. I was bummed out because this coming May our eve emh hours were 9-11 which seemed too early but park hours were extended by 1 hour so now 10-12. I think a bunch of people with young kids will head out after the 9pm fireworks and I think the first half hour might be pretty crowded but hopefully by 10:30 the crowds will be thinning out. ::yes::

Haha, I'm right there with my kids running by over and over on BTM

Is there a list of what rides are available for FP's on evening EMH's at MK?
